(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Yunxia Missing for 20 days and Counting

4. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Ma Fengjun and Xiaolan Detained
5. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yin Liyun Detained
6. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Qian Ziping Harassed
7. [Beijing] Ms. Wei Suwen Formally Arrested
8. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tang Kunqiang Harassed
9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Du Yanzun Harassed
10. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Ji’e Faces Indictment
1. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Xu’e Sentenced
Ms. Gao Xu’e was sentenced to three years with four years probation and fined 10,000 yuan by the Huangdao District Court on August 28, 2024.
2. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Yunxian Missing for 20 days and Counting
Ms. Zhang Yunxian, who lives in the southern suburbs of Xi’an City, has not been in contact with her family for nearly three weeks, ever since mid-August 2024.
3. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Su Chunfeng Admitted to Hebei Province Women’s Prison
Ms. Su Chunfeng was admitted to the Hebei Province Women’s Prison on August 16, 2024 to serve a 2.5-year term.
4. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Ma Fengjun and Xiaolan Detained
Ma Fengjun and Xiaolan (last name and gender unknown) from Xishui County were arrested and taken to the Xishui First Detention Center on August 30, 2024, after being reported for putting up Falun Gong posters in a residential neighborhood. They were detained for five and seven days, respectively.
5. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yin Liyun Detained
Ms. Yin Liyun was detained for 15 days. She was released on bail for a year on September 1, 2024.
6. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Qian Ziping Harassed
Qian Ziping, gender unknown, was harassed at home by two officers from Chengdong Police Station around September 1, 2024. They took photos against his or her will but failed to force him or her to sign statements to renounce Falun Gong.
7. [Beijing] Ms. Wei Suwen Formally Arrested
Ms. Wei Suwen, 64, from the Xicheng District was arrested in Tiantan Park on August 15, 2024. She is being held in the Dongcheng District Detention Center. The Dongcheng District Procuratorate issued her arrest warrant on August 30, 2024.
8. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tang Kunqiang Harassed
Mr. Tang Kunqiang, 74, was harassed at home in June 2024 by three officers from the Baosheng Town Police Station. The officers ordered him to sign statements to renounce Falun Gong. One of them recorded the whole process.
9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Du Yanzun Harassed
Du Yanzun, gender unknown, was harassed on September 4, 2024, by officers Du Jianping and others from the Hezuo Road Police Station. They took pictures of Du against his or her will.
10. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Ji’e Faces Indictment
Ms. Li Ji’e, 78, of Ping’an Town, Changqing County, was arrested on August 7, 2024, by Ping’an Town Police Station officers. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books and picture of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated. She is being held in the Zhongguan Detention Center. The police submitted her case to the procuratorate the following week.
