(Minghui.org) Practitioners hosted an information stand in Brasov, and talked with tourists at the Telegondola in Constanta on Sunday, August 25, 2024. They handed out fliers and collected signatures on three petitions to help stop the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong), including a petition launched by Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) to the G7+7 nations. Many people said they appreciated Falun Dafa’s values, and encouraged the practitioners.
Practitioners held an event in Constanta on August 25, 2024.

Andreea-Alexandra Brezvica, 21, is a student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Walking past the Falun Dafa booth with her friend, she was interested when she saw the information about signing the petition to stop the persecution. Both friends signed all three petitions.
“We should come to the year 2024 with a totally different mindset and put more emphasis on freedom,” Alexandra said. She admired Falun Dafa’s core values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, as well as the exercises based on inner tranquility, calming the mind, purifying one’s negative thoughts, and said they could help society, and people’s quality of life.
“Honestly, I think we would live a better life if we emphasized these moral values. I think we would live in a better society if we put more emphasis on kindness and loving each other,” Alexandra said.
Falun Dafa Uplifts Morality
Denis Andrei, a karate enthusiast, explained why he came to the Falun Dafa booth, “I wanted to find out about Falun Dafa, and when I saw there was a petition I wanted to help.” Referring to Falun Dafa’s principles on the banners, Denis said the practice reminded him of martial arts, which also has a moral code.
“If everyone followed these principles the world would be a more civilized, and a better place.” Denis gave a practical example of how he believes Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance can help others. “First of all tolerance. For example, if you know a person is weak, you don’t pick on them, you try to help them, to raise them up.”
Tourists Sign the Petitions
A couple asked for details about Falun Dafa and said they would look for a practice site in their city.
A couple from the United States talked to practitioners in Constanta. The man is an American from Chicago, and the woman is Romanian. After learning about the persecution of practitioners in China and the forced organ harvesting orchestrated by the communist regime, they both signed the DAFOH petition to the G7+7. They said they would look for the Falun Dafa practice site in Chicago.
The Principles of Falun Dafa are Great
Cornel is a customs officer, and said the principles on which Falun Dafa is based - Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance - “can only be applied with faith in God. Let’s forget religion, let’s just believe in God.”
Cornel said that Falun Dafa’s principles are great to aspire to. He also strongly condemned the persecution in China, “This persecution must absolutely be eliminated. And I know [practitioners] are being killed there. I wish maximum strength to the practitioners in China.” He signed the DAFOH Petition to the G7+7 nations.
Background: What is Falun Dafa and Why is the CCP Persecuting It?
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Its teachings are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings and exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party, perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology. On July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.
Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization that has the power to override the police and judicial systems. Its sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 25 years. However, the actual number is believed to be much higher, due to the difficulty in getting information out of China. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
