(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1998 and have experienced many incredible things. I’d like to share my father’s story.

When I returned home from work one day, my wife said that my mother wanted to talk to me. My parents were living with my younger brother, so I went to their place.

As soon as I saw my father he told me, “I wasn’t feeling well a few days ago, so I went to the hospital. Can you accompany me to the hospital tomorrow?”

We picked up the test result the next day at the hospital, and the doctor said, “You’ve been diagnosed with diabetes. I’ll prescribe some medication for you, and I’ll check on you next Monday. Make sure you avoid certain types of food.” And he mentioned a list of foods that my father should avoid.

My father was in a bad mood on the way home. He said “This is not good. I have to deal with this illness for the rest of my life.”

I remembered Master’s teachings and thought I should read a certain section from Zhuan Falun to my father.

Master said,

“You can read this book to someone who is sick if you wish, and he might be healed if he’s receptive to it. But the results will vary according to how much karma the person has.” (The Seventh Talk, Zhuan Falun)

I saw my father the next morning, and read him the section, “Healing” in Zhuan Falun to him. I asked my father what he thought, and he replied, “Very good! It’s true.”

My father went to the hospital on Monday, and the doctor told him to pick up the test result on Friday.

My father was in a bad mood on our way to the hospital on Friday, and I comforted him, “You’re fine. You don’t have diabetes!” And he said he’d never heard that diabetes could be cured.

When we showed the doctor the test result, he was astonished and mumbled, “Did I misdiagnose?”

My father asked about the result, and the doctor replied, “Everything looks normal. Just continue to take the medication, and pay attention to your body.”

I asked my father on our way home, “Who do you think got rid of your diabetes, the doctor or Master Li?”

“Master got rid of my illness,” said my father.

I asked if he was going to take medication, and he said, “What for? I’m well now!”

We both had a big smile on our face.
