(Minghui.org) I’m a 70-year-old woman who began practicing Falun Dafa before the persecution began in 1999. There are more than ten practitioners in my village, and six or seven of them study the Fa together every evening.

Practitioners were severely interfered with by sleepiness after the Chinese New Year because they worked on the farm a lot, which caused them to spend less time studying the Fa, and sending righteous thoughts less frequently. They only sent forth righteous thoughts for 30 minutes in the evening. A practitioner named A Mei in particular was severely interfered with. As soon as she began to send forth righteous thoughts, her hand drooped. She sometimes fell asleep as soon as she closed her eyes. She told us that she felt ashamed.

Practitioners in the city arranged a relay to send forth righteous thoughts; each group would do it for an hour. This was very difficult for A Mei.

When it was time to send forth righteous thoughts on the evening of March 17, 2024, A Mei said, “I really feel drowsy!”

Another practitioner named Bai Ling responded, “Is there an evening where you don’t doze off?!”

After we sent righteous thoughts for a while, A Mei said, “We all dozed off. Let’s send forth righteous thoughts for half an hour.” None of us responded. I was in charge of keeping track of time, and I didn’t respond, either. We sent forth righteous thoughts for an hour, and then we stopped and went home. That atmosphere didn’t feel good.

The next morning while making informational materials about Falun Dafa, I was thinking about what happened the prior evening. It must have been agonizing for A Mei that she hadn’t been able to overcome the interference from sleepiness. I thought that we could also send forth righteous thoughts for 30 minutes if we could concentrate well. I wondered if I was too insistent on doing it my way.

I had just prepared informational materials for local practitioners, who took them in the afternoon. As I was rushing to make more materials, I talked to a printer that hadn’t been working for several days, saying, “Printer, if you can work, it will help other printers reduce their workload.” I turned on the printer and it worked without issue, and has since been working for several days without issue.

I went to study the Fa with other practitioners that evening. Bai Ling apologized to A Mei as soon as she arrived. We sent forth righteous thoughts for only 30 minutes that evening, but no one’s hands drooped.
