Romania: Information Day Activities Held in Two Cities

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities in the mountain city of Brasov on August 3, 2024, and in Constanta, a city on the shores of the Black Sea, on August 4. They handed out information about Falun Dafa and set up display boards with information about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) recently launched a petition that calls for governments around the world to take a stand against China’s killing of prisoners of conscience for their organs. In response to this initiative, practitioners prepared petitions to stop forced organ harvesting, condemn the CCP for violating human rights and call on the regime to end the persecution. Many Romanians gladly signed the three petitions to show their support.

Practitioners demonstrated the exercises and spoke to people about Falun Dafa during an event in Brasov on August 3. People signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution after learning the facts.

Practitioners introduced the spiritual practice to residents in Constanta on August 4, 2024.

Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance Are Important Values

Four students from Brasov, Cătălina, Sorina, Rebeca and Denisa, had previously read about Falun Dafa during activities held on Republicii street in the old city center. They signed all three petitions to express their support.

They said that Falun Dafa and its values of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are important values that people should follow in their lives as they will help them return to a normal state.

One Will Become a Better Person by Learning Falun Dafa

Simona, 57, is an insurance broker. She signed the DAFOH petition to the G7+7. She said that she already knew about the persecution and felt that people should respect the universal values on which Falun Dafa is based.

Simona said that one should respect Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

She said, “I first heard of Falun Dafa six years ago at a resort from a Chinese gentleman. If more people lived according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, we would be better people with greater spirituality, there would be less evil.”

Simona believed that the CCP’s attack on Falun Dafa is destroying humanity’s moral values with mass killings, deception, and exporting its ideology. “I’m against the persecution in China because the whole world is being persecuted. God has ways to save Chinese people.”

Constantin, a 55-year-old mechanic, said that he read about Falun Dafa on the Internet. He agrees with the practice’s values and how they motivate practitioners to become better people. “If people respect Truth, Compassion and Forbearance, it would be a totally different world.”



Constantin said he read about the persecution of Falun Dafa online. He signed the petition to support ending the brutality during the information day event held in Constanta on August 4.

Of the persecution in China, he said, “I believe that God has a solution for the Chinese people as well. But all in due time.”
