(Minghui.org) The police in Huludao City, Liaoning Province, have been harassing Falun Gong practitioners in the area recently by phoning or visiting them.

The situation is very similar to the “Zero-out” harassment campaign used during the COVID-19 pandemic when the police visited every practitioner on the government’s blacklist and demanded that they renounce Falun Gong. As far as I know, some practitioners did write a renouncement. Consequently, some are facing renewed harassment.

For those who suffer repeated harassment, I think it’s important for them to truly reflect on their cultivation, especially after they wrote certain things that betrayed Master and Dafa. Even after publishing solemn statements on Minghui, they need to ask themselves if they truly realize what they did wrong. When they say they will return to cultivating Dafa, do they have the determination and courage it takes to face the police when they knock on the door again? If we consider writing a solemn statement a mere formality, we are not taking cultivation seriously and are disrespecting Master.

We shouldn’t acknowledge the persecution. So, how do we handle it? I remember one practitioner said that the first thought she had after hearing about the harassment campaign was, “There are new police officers and many are younger people. They haven’t heard the facts about Dafa yet. I should seize the opportunity to clarify the facts to them and save them.”

Another practitioner received a call from her new village secretary and township secretary, who said they would soon visit her. She thought to herself that she didn’t have many opportunities to meet them in person; since they were coming themselves, she should make sure they understood the facts about Dafa well.

The village and township secretaries visited the practitioner several times. Although she wasn’t very articulate, she had wisdom and talked fluently whenever they met with her. The village secretary said, “You talked so much. Our trip is in vain.” The practitioner replied, “It’s not in vain. Don’t you know much more about Falun Gong now?” After that, the local authorities didn’t harass her again.

I also heard that someone asked the police why they don’t go to practitioner An’s home. An officer responded, “We don’t want to visit her. We can’t ‘transform’ her, yet she may ‘transform’ us.”

When facing persecution, we mustn’t develop resentment, fear, or a competitive mentality toward the police. We can’t look down on them because they carry out the persecution. They are sentient beings. We are here to save them, not to be persecuted by them. If they come to harass us, they will hear the facts about Dafa.
