(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 47 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Eighteen Practitioners Arrested
Eighteen practitioners from Qingyuan County, including Wang Zexing, Wang Nanfang, Liu Haitao, Hu Fengju, Huang Yuping, and Lai Jinlian, were arrested around 5 a.m. on July 12, 2024, by over a dozen police officers from the Fushun City Domestic Security Division and Qingyuan County Police Department. The female practitioners were taken to the Nangou Detention Center in Fushun City, and male practitioners to Dashagou Detention Center in Qingyuan County.
2. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Twelve Practitioners Arrested
Instructed by the Chengde City Police Department, officers from High-tech Zone Police Department, Chengde County Police Department, and Fengyingzi Town Police Station formed four groups and went to various practitioners’ homes on the morning of July 12, 2024, to ransack the places and harass or arrest them.
Ms. Chen Yanqiu’s Falun Gong books, USB flash drives, card readers, and 15,500 yuan in cash were confiscated.
Ms. Chen Fengxia became ill and was taken to the hospital around midnight.
Mr. Guo Qingfeng and Mr. Guo Shengnan were interrogated for three hours. The police then held them in a room filled with methanol for nearly five hours.
Other practitioners who were arrested on the same day included Liu Xiaoli, Wang Yan, Xu Fengjun, Yu Fengjun, Fu, Wang Chen, Li Chunfang, and Sun Qiuling,
3. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Qi Jie Faces Trial
Ms. Qi Jie from Kongtong District was arrested in 2023 for talking to people about Falun Gong and then released on bail. She was forced to live away from home to hide from the police. Her family recently received a notice that her case had been transferred from the procuratorate to the court and she was scheduled to stand trial in the coming days. But her family still don’t know when she was arrested and other details about her case.
4. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Zhang Guoshun, his wife Ms. Yang Yongfeng, and their daughter were arrested on July 12, 2024, at their home on Huagong Street, Lianshan District.
On the same day, Ms. Liu Cong from Longgang District was also arrested by officers of the Huludao City Police Department.
5. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Tian Yuhua Arrested
A group of plainclothes officers went to Ms. Tian Yuhua’s home on the morning of May 11, 2024. They asked a locksmith to pry open the door, broke into her home, and arrested her. She was taken to the police station for interrogation. The officers ransacked her home. Ms. Tian’s children were forced to pay 5,000 yuan before she was released on bail.
6. [Antu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhu Yazhen Arrested
Ms. Zhu Yazhen, from Erdaobaihe Town, was handing out Falun Gong informational cards at a farmers market on the morning of June 20, 2024, when she was followed and arrested by the police. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated over 40 Falun Gong books and over 300 yuan paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. She was released at noon that day.
7. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zang Liyuan Arrested
Mr. Zang Liyuan in Baiyilaga Township was arrested at home on July 11, 2024, by officers from Baicheng City Police Department and Baiyilaga Township Police Station. A desktop computer was confiscated.
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Qingjie Arrested
Ms. Meng Qingjie from Dadong District was arrested at home on July 12, 2024, by officers from the provincial and city domestic security divisions and the local police station.
9. [Huanren County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tong Xiaoyan and Her Daughter Arrested
Officers from Huanren County Police Department, together with officers from Erpengdianzi Town Police Station, broke into Ms. Tong Xiaoyan’s home at around 6:30 a.m. on July 12, 2024. They confiscated a laptop, over 40 blank memory cards, three cell phones, an Internet router, three small radios, a USB flash drive, and several card readers. They then arrested and interrogated Ms. Tong and her daughter. Ms. Tong and her daughter were released in the afternoon, .
10. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Ma Zufu Arrested
Mr. Ma Zufu was arrested in his rental home in Anning District on July 13, 2024.
11. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Huo Zhongying Arrested
Mr. Huo Zhongying from Qiaodong District was taking care of his mother, who is over 100 years old, on July 13, 2024, when officers from Shengli Road Police Station in Qiaodong District suddenly broke in and arrested him.
12. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Four practitioners in Jianping County were arrested on May 11, 2024. Below are the details.
Ms. Ni Chunyan was arrested by officers from Baishan Township Police Station. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books. She was detained at the Chaoyang City Detention Center for 15 days.
Mr. Yu Changjiang was arrested by officers from Zhuluke Town Police Station. His Falun Gong books were confiscated. He was detained at the Jianping County Detention Center for 10 days.
Mr. Wang Zhihua’s home was ransacked by officers from Machang Town Police Station. His Falun Gong books were confiscated. He was detained at the Jianping County Detention Center for 15 days.
Mr. Wang Huaxue was arrested by agents from the Taipingzhuang Town Comprehensive Management Office and the village committee. He was detained for 15 days and ordered to write a so-called guarantee statement, which he refused.
