Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Events to Mark the 25th Anniversary of Efforts to End the CCP’s Persecution

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Saipan held a two-day event at Tank Beach on July 18 and 19, 2024. They introduced Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, and condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) long-term barbaric persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, who follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

July 20, 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, which is still ongoing. For 25 years, practitioners have peacefully opposed the persecution, awakening the public’s conscience and kindness. They are calling for everyone to jointly stop the CCP’s crime of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners and end this 25-year-long persecution.

The practitioners peacefully stood along the roadside holding banners with the following messages: “U.S. House of Representatives Passes Falun Gong Protection Act,” “Jointly Stop the Chinese Communist Party’s Organ Harvesting from Falun Gong Practitioners,” “Independent Tribunal Finds Chinese Communist Party Guilty of Organ Harvesting,” “Falun Gong Peacefully and Rationally Protesting the Persecution for 25 Years,” “Falun Dafa Is Good,” and “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.”

The peaceful, friendly, and rational atmosphere touched many passersby. Some drivers slowly drove by, reading the banners. Some honked to show support for the practitioners’ efforts. Others rolled down their windows to greet the practitioners, and some shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good!”

People Support Justice and Kindness

Mr. Nolan, upon hearing about the persecution and the CCP’s forced organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience, said he already knew about these crimes. He had read about it on the internet and considered it extremely evil. He expressed his support for Dafa, giving a thumbs-up and saying: “Falun Dafa is good.”

Some people, after hearing the truth, took photos with the practitioners. They said that it was the most righteous thing to do to support human rights and faith.

Passersby stopped to talk to practitioners, to find out more about Falun Gong.

People Concur With Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance

The peaceful exercise demonstration attracted many passersby. Practitioners gave out small lotus flowers and taught people to recite: “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” People gladly accepted being told about Falun Gong. They were happy to receive the beautiful lotus flowers and said that they resonated with the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
