(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Ms. Cao Fengying Arrested
2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Yuzhen Detained
3. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Yuxia Harassed
4. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Multiple Practitioners Harassed
5. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Harassed
1. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Ms. Cao Fengying Arrested
Ms. Cao Fengying was arrested at home by several officers including Wang Tengfei from the Chuanhui District Domestic Security Division around 6 p.m. on June 26, 2024. The police didn’t show their IDs or a search warrant. They ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a laptop, a media player and two cell phones. Ms. Cao was taken to the Domestic Security Division.
2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Yuzhen Detained
Ms. Yang Yuzhen was arrested on June 15 and held at a lockup. An insider revealed that she has been transferred to a brainwashing center recently.
3. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Yuxia Harassed
Ms. Sun Yuxia was harassed at home by a local officer on the evening of June 13, 2024. The officer took a photo of her.
Ms. Sun’s husband received a call from the officer on June 17, 2024 asking for another photo of Ms. Sun, because the one he took was not good.
4. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Multiple Practitioners Harassed
Officers from the Tongjiangkou Town Police Station and Shibajiazi Town Police Station recently went to local practitioners’ homes to harass them. They took photos of the practitioners and ordered them to give up their practice of Falun Gong.
5. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Harassed
Two officers from the Gaolou Town Police Station went to the home of Wang Jian in Shenjiazhuang on June 15, 2024. They knocked the door and asked to take photos.
Two officers from the Gaolou Town Police Station went to Ms. Yu Chunxiang’s home in early June 2024. Ms. Yu, in her 70s, was taking a nap at the time. She was woken up by the sound of the door being pushed on. The police left after taking a photo of her.
