(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in the Dallas area were invited to participate in the 59th Arlington Independence Day Parade on July 4, 2024. They won one of the outstanding entry awards in this largest Independence Day parade in Texas.
The parade consisting of over 120 groups, started with the National Anthem at 9 a.m. Led by the mayor’s and the city councils’ vehicles, the procession marched the two-mile-long route lined with approximately 80,000 spectators.

Huge banners reading “Falun Dafa” and “Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance” was followed by practitioners demonstrating the exercises on a beautifully decorated float. Spectators cheered for the Falun Dafa procession.

The host introduced the practitioners as they passed the main stage, and said that Falun Dafa, originated in ancient China, was a cultivation practice following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and is practiced by people in over 100 countries, and that practitioners teach the exercises for free.

Liz, a local resident, said that practitioners participating in the parade brought unique beauty and touching peace. She said she wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa.
Mariana, another local resident, said she was interested in learning how to meditate. After hearing about the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Dafa, Mariana said it should stop. She wrote down the website to learn the exercises online.
