(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
2. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Ms. Fan Chunhua Arrested and Detained
3. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Mr. Tang Xiaoqin Arrested
4. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wen Guoxiang Harassed
5. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Guimei Released After Serving Three Years in Prison
6. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Youbin Harassed
7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Li Quandong Harassed
8. [Dapu County, Guangdong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested and Detained

1. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Three practitioners from Guan County, Ms. Yao Hualan, Ms. Li Lanfeng and Ms. Liu Zumei, were arrested by officers from the Dianzi Town Police Station when talking to people about Falun Gong in the Dianzi Town Market on June 29, 2024. It’s not clear where they are currently being detained.

2. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Ms. Fan Chunhua Arrested and Detained

Ms. Fan Chunhua, 70, is a retired teacher from No. 1 Middle School. She was arrested around May 1, 2024 for posting informational materials about Falun Gong. She is currently detained in the Gongzhuling City Detention Center.

3. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Mr. Tang Xiaoqin Arrested

Mr. Tang Xiaoqin, in his 60s, was arrested on June 28, 2024 after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. It’s not clear where he is currently being detained.

4. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wen Guoxiang Harassed

Ms. Wen Guoxiang was harassed at home in Lujiahe Village in mid-June 2024. She was ordered to sign a statement renouncing Falun Gong and have her photo taken, which she firmly refused.

5. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Guimei Released After Serving Three Years in Prison

Ms. Yu Guimei from Liaoyang County was released in May 2024 after serving three years at the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison.

6. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Youbin Harassed

Mr. Wang Youbin was harassed at home in Changping District by officers including Li Geng on the morning of July 1, 2024. They took a photo of him without his consent.

7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Li Quandong Harassed

Li Quandong from Liuhengtuo Village was harassed at home by two officers, including Zhou Baoren from the Angezhuang Town Police Station, on June 30, 2024. They ordered Li to sign a statement renouncing Falun Gong, which Li refused.
