(Minghui.org) I started reading Zhuan Falun in May 1999. I learned the five sets of exercises in late June 1999, at the practice site in our residential area. In July, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Dafa.
At the start of the persecution I cultivated alone, but I was fortunately able to read the Minghui.org website, so I did not feel lonely. As I compared my experiences and learned from practitioners’ articles on Minghui.org, my cultivation gradually improved. I later met a few practitioners in my residential area and began making truth clarifying booklets.
About 25,000 people live in our residential area, and we started clarifying the truth to residents and those who live in the nearby areas.
When I was clarifying the truth at a park a man said, “It’s been years since we heard of Falun Dafa. Is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) still persecuting the practice?”
I realized that he lived in my area so I felt bad. Although my area is large, practitioners had been distributing truth clarifying materials to the residents in our area for years. Some distributed the materials face-to-face while some left the booklets in mailboxes. I was surprised to meet someone who had never received the materials. I decided to distribute materials again, and this time vowed not to miss a single household.
I discussed the situation with another practitioner, and she agreed to print the materials, and I would distribute them. The two of us decided to work together and not tell the others. We knew that if we distributed materials continuously we could be easily discovered. I usually distribute around two hundred copies each time I go out, and each round takes about an hour. We then wait two weeks for the police and building security to relax their guard before distributing the next round. It took about six months to cover the entire area.
We had no experience when we first started distributing, so I read many related articles on Minghui.org, and I understood the importance of doing it with righteous thoughts. During the process, I dared not slack off in my cultivation and I did not dare to relax my thoughts. I’d like to share some of my experiences.
The Security Guard Cannot See Me
Since we started the large-scale distribution of truth-clarifying booklets, the number of security officers who patrol our area on electromobiles increased a lot and their faces all looked very serious. The electromobiles make almost no sound.
I once had distributed materials to a few blocks and was preparing to leave when a security officer rushed over on an electromobile, stopping seven to eight meters away from me.
I was shocked and I wondered if he was coming for me. However, he did not see me. He just stared here and there. Even though I was the only one there he could not see me. I relaxed, and as I walked away I recited softly, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion- Forbearance is good!” The security officer also left.
Master Reminds Me to Avoid the Monitoring Camera
I was once distributing booklets to a cluster of mailboxes and did not realize that someone was coming down the stairs. When I heard the door open, I froze and pretended to be reading the advertisement on the wall. An elderly lady came out, looked at me, and continued walking. She turned back and said, “Be careful, there’s a camera.”
I said, “thank you.” After she left, I noticed a camera above the door.
A few days later, a practitioner living in another area told me that our area was full of cameras, and every corridor entrance had a camera. I was shocked and remembered the old lady’s warning. It was no coincidence that I was hearing about cameras again. I realized that Master must be reminding me, so I should pay attention. I had a discussion with the practitioner who was printing the materials and we decided that I would bring an umbrella when I go out to distribute the materials next time to block the cameras. I will go when the weather is sunny or rainy, so I will look natural.
Everything Is Arranged by Master
The identities of most of the practitioners in my area have been exposed so they are often harassed by the management, neighborhood committee, and police.
A practitioner received a call from the management, stating that practitioners were distributing materials again in the area causing them to be very uptight, and he asked if the practitioner was distributing them. The practitioner laughed loudly and said, “Is that so? I did not know about it. Thank you for telling me. The materials are precious, please read them.” He used the opportunity to clarify the truth to the caller.
One day, a practitioner asked me if I was distributing materials. I did not reply and changed the topic. I thought that as the project was still going on, it would be best to keep the energy field as pure as possible.
I did not expect the results from this project to be better than expected. Initially, we only wanted to make sure the residents in our area received truth-clarifying materials. We did not expect the security officers, management, neighborhood committee, and police officers to see the materials too.
Other practitioners in our area then joined in. Those practitioners whose identities had already been exposed directly clarified the truth, while the rest did their best to make sure every household received materials. This kind of cooperation seemed to have been coordinated, however we each took action individually without knowing what the other practitioners were doing. Afterwards I deeply felt that Master had arranged everything!
Talking to More People
I made some new friends in our area while distributing booklets, and I had the chance to clarify the truth to them more thoroughly. They saw the goodness of Dafa and realized how bad the CCP was. They quit the CCP, Youth League, and Young Pioneers organizations they had joined. They also praised practitioners for being so selfless, and reminded us to be mindful of our safety. A few of them asked to borrow Zhuan Falun from me. Seeing people truly understand the truth filled my heart with joy!
In the past, whenever I read on Minghui.org about fellow practitioners’ miraculous experiences overcoming tribulations, I was moved and envied them. At the same time, I felt that “miracles and supernatural powers” were far away from me. Those practitioners were doing so well in their cultivation compared to me. This time, I acted righteously with righteous thoughts and I experienced miracles. These experiences really helped me to break through another layer of shell in my cultivation. I didn’t believe I had any abilities, and I had no confidence in my cultivation state.
When I summarized the experience, I also found that I had doubted Master and the Fa.
I had the habit of analyzing the situation until I thoroughly understood before I did something. When I first began practicing I emphasized studying the Fa and put my heart into understanding things. This helped me greatly during the early stages of my cultivation. I do not have any supernatural abilities, so, when I’m not able to understand Master’s Fa, I feel that I’m not able to catch up in my cultivation.
I know that there must be something wrong on my end but I was not able to let go of my stubborn notions. I only move on after I understand the matter fully. This makes me slow in improving my cultivation state. Thank you Master for showing me the fundamental problem of my cultivation and letting me see Dafa’s powers and supernatural nature. This helped me to learn and improve, thus strengthening my steadfast belief and persistence in Dafa. It also helped me build a strong foundation to be able to maintain the xinxing that a cultivator should have while working on projects.
More than ten years have passed since that project. I described our experiences as a record on my path of cultivation and also to encourage myself to cultivate even more diligently!
