(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Xiuling Formally Arrested
2. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Mr. Bai Hongmin Arrested
3. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Bao Shuangdi Detained
4. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Qi Yingjun Held in Jinan Prison Hospital
5. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Nianyu Village Practitioners Harassed, Arrested, and Detained
6. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yang Muqing Arrested
7. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xia Tingting Harassed
1. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xie Xiuling Formally Arrested
Ms. Xie Xiuling, 70, of Jiaoling County, was arrested by the Jiaoling police on the morning of April 18, 2024. They ransacked her home, seized her Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, and other items. She was formally arrested.
2. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Mr. Bai Hongmin Arrested
Xuchang City practitioner Mr. Bai Hingmin was arrested in an apartment in Zhengzhou City on June 19, 2024. His whereabouts are unknown.
3. [Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Bao Shuangdi Detained
Ms. Bao Shuangdi was arrested when she was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on the morning of June 19, 2024. The police ransacked her home and seized her personal items. She is being held in the Zhenjiang Detention Center.
4. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Qi Yingjun Held in Jinan Prison Hospital
Mr. Qi Yingjun’s family received a call from Jinan Prison. The caller said that Mr. Qi had been on a hunger strike and was admitted to the Jinan Prison Hospital. The caller asked the family to visit him.
5. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Nianyu Village Practitioners Harassed, Arrested, and Detained
Ms. Wang Yuhua was arrested at home by officers from the Yushu City Domestic Security Division and the Qingshan Township Police Station on March 1, 2024. They took her to the police station and tried to force her to sign a paper. She refused. She was released the same day.
Bo Haiqin, 92, was harassed by officers from the Qingshan Township Police Station on March 1, 2024. They forced him or her to fingerprint a police paper.
Ms. Zhou Qiling was harassed by Qingshan Township Police Station officers on April 1, 2024. The police seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong. She was arrested at home and taken to the police station in the early morning hours of May 10. Officers made her undergo a physical exam in Lanxing Hospital in Yushu City and sent her to the Yushu Detention Center where she was detained for 10 days.
Mr. Liu Yujun was harassed by three officers from the Qingshan Township Police Station on April 1, 2024. The officers seized several Falun Gong books.
6. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yang Muqing Arrested
Mr. Yang Muqing was arrested by officers from the Yingcheng City Police Department at noon on June 16, 2024. He was released after 7:00 p.m.
Two days after, on the afternoon of June 19, three officers from the Langjun Police Station went to his home, ransacked the place, and seized a Falun Gong book. They tried to remove a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, but Mr. Yang stopped them.
7. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xia Tingting Harassed
Officer Liu from the Wulong Police Station knocked on the door of Ms. Xia Tingting’s home several times on the morning of June 18, 2024. She did not open it. The officer called her husband and ordered him to take picture of Ms. Xia and send it in. She refused to be photographed.
