(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Imprisoned
2. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wei Arrested and Detained
3. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Zou Binyun Arrested and Detained
4. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Cuiling Arrested and Detained
5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Ge Xiaolei and Ran Aizi Arrested and Detained
6. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bao Gui’e Arrested
7. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xin Lilian Arrested and Detained
8. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Jiang Hongfu Is Monitored
9. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yujie Missing

11. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Gu Benxiu and Ms. Zhang Mingying Arrested
12. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Bao Zhiying Persecuted
1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Imprisoned
Ms. Wang Yinghua, Ms. Yu Jing and Ms. Wang Jingzhong, were arrested and imprisoned on May 10, 2024.
2. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wei Arrested and Detained
Mr. Liu Wei was arrested by officers from the Suizhong County Police Department on the afternoon of May 12, 2024 and was sent to the Suizhoung County Detention Center. The Suizhong County Procuratorate officially arrested him.
3. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Zou Binyun Arrested and Detained
Zou Binyun was arrested at home in Baoan District of Shenzhen City by six officers from the Linwu County Police Department in Chenzhou City on the morning of April 13, 2024. The police ransacked Zou’s home and confiscated a cell phone, USB drives, Falun Gong books, and other items. Zou was first interrogated in Shenzhen City and then escorted back to Linwu County, Chenzhou City of Human Province. Zou’s parents’ home was ransacked on April 14, 2024 and their Falun Gong books were confiscated. Zou was held for six days in the Linwu County Detention House.
4. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Cuiling Arrested and Detained
Ms. Liu Cuiling, 72, from Qixia City, went to Beijing with her husband to take care of their granddaughter. She was arrested by officers from the Jianguomen Police Station on the morning of March 29, 2024, along with two practitioners from Beijing, Ms. Zhang Xiuli and Ms. Meng Xiuzhen.
Ms. Liu was body searched, and a Minghui Weekly, 3 truth clarifying booklets, 2 USB drives, 2 amulets, and 2 small gourds with the words “Falun Dafa is good” were found. She was held for 14 days in No. 1 Detention Center of Beijing. Ms. Liu left home to avoid further persecution.
5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Ge Xiaolei and Ran Aizi Arrested and Detained
Mr. Ge Xiaolei, a school teacher in Shangzhuang Township of Laiyuan County, was arrested on May 2, 2024. He was detained for two weeks.
Ran Aizi, from Zhou Village of Laiyuan County, was arrested when talking to people about Falun Gong in Laiyuan City on the morning of May 11, 2024. Ran was detained for seven days.
6. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bao Gui’e Arrested
Ms. Bao Gui’e, 77, from Beimei Community in the Chengguan Sub-district of Beipiao City was arrested by local police officers on May 24, 2024. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated. The detention center refused to admit her due to her high blood pressure, and she was released the next day.
7. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xin Lilian Arrested and Detained
Ms. Xin Lilian was arrested by officers from the No. 2 Police Station of Mishan City when she talked to people about Falun Gong around May 10, 2024. She is currently held in the Jixi City Women’s Detention Center.
8. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Jiang Hongfu Is Monitored
Mr. Jiang Hongfu was released and sent home on April 14, 2024 after being detained for five months. He noticed a police car parked next to the building where he lives around May 13, 2024. Two officers were inside.
9. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yujie Missing
Ms. Zhang Yujie has not been heard from for more than ten days.
10. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Chen Shuiqing Arrested and Detained
Mr. Chen Shuiqing was arrested in early May 2024. He is currently held in the Mazhang District Detention Center.
11. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Gu Benxiu and Ms. Zhang Mingying Arrested
Ms. Gu Benxiu and Ms. Zhang Mingying were intercepted by two plainclothes officers on the afternoon of October 12, 2023. The two practitioners were followed and had their photos taken a few days earlier when they distributed truth clarifying materials. They were body searched. Ms. Zhang Mingying was released after nothing was found on her. Ms. Gu Benxiu was taken to the Xinyuan Police Station for interrogation. Two days later, Ms. Zhang Mingying was arrested at home and taken to the Huainan Police Station for interrogation. She was released later.
12. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Bao Zhiying Persecuted
Ms. Bao Zhiying from Macheng City was arrested in 2023 for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to the Huangguang City Detention Center, but was denied admission due to her health and was released. Ms. Bao was summoned to the Gulou Police Station recently and was placed on bail pending trial.
