(Minghui.org) I went to Thailand in 2001. I would practice the exercises in a park in the morning, and after breakfast, I would take with me a large bag of the truth materials and head to piers to talk to people and distribute the materials. There are many piers in Thailand, and many Chinese tourists would take boat tours after which they would return to their hotels on buses.
I moved to Germany in 2003, and started clarifying the truth in a small town. There was a tourist attraction in the town that was only open on Saturdays and Sundays. I would display the informational materials and practice the exercises all by myself. When people came or passed by, I would hand the materials to them. I would also make phone calls to China other times. I bought prepaid international phone cards and went to a practitioner owned restaurant to make the calls. I would collect the phone numbers from the labels on the goods from China. I would also mail the letters to China.
I later moved to Berlin and accepted a job there. I bought Internet access and would posted truth-clarification articles online. Every morning before going to work, I would set up my computer to send the truth-clarification materials automatically. When I returned back to my apartment around noon, many people would be waiting online for my replies to their questions, I would answer them one by one and helped them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. Once, while I was talking to someone online, another person got anxious and said, “Don’t ignore me please!” I answered him and helped him quit the CCP organizations.
I joined a project that makes phone calls to China. We used the phone numbers published on the Minghui website. Once, I called a police station and talked to the police chief. I told him that Falun Dafa is a cultivation practice based on the teachings of the Buddha School. I said, “I came to understand that one’s thoughts about Dafa determines one’s future. You should respect Dafa.” He listened and accepted what I had to say, and I helped him quit the CCP. I asked him to treat Dafa practitioners kindly and not to persecute them. I told him that doing so would bring him a bright future.
One call reached another officer. I said, “I’m calling you today to help you obtain a bright future. Falun Dafa is a cultivation practice based on the Buddha School. People should respect Dafa and Dafa’s Master.” I told him that respecting Dafa’s Master is cherishing one’s life. He listened well and quit the CCP. Before we ended our conversation, I told him to remember “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and to be kind to Dafa practitioners. He readily agreed.
One day, I dialed a number to a hospital in Shanghai where Dafa practitioners were severely persecuted. A female practitioner persecuted there had been arrested nine times in total. I wanted to call this hospital to clarify the truth to the doctors there. However, the call only reached the reception. I called again and still it only went to the receptionist. I thought that this might not be accidental, and it might be where I should clarify the truth. I called again. When the receptionist answered the phone, I said, “Since I can’t reach a doctor, I’ll talk to you.” I told him the truth about Falun Gong. He listened sincerely and agreed to quit the CCP. Before we ended our conversation, he said that he felt very comfortable listening to me.
I once called a farm in Shandong province, and the owner answered the phone. I said, “First of all, please allow me to wish a peaceful life to you and your family. Today I want to tell you that we live in an extraordinary period with many disasters including earthquakes, floods, fires, and epidemics happening frequently. The only way for one to avoid the disasters is to quit the CCP organizations one had joined. When people joined the CCP organizations, the forehead was stamped with the CCP’s mark, and one swore to devote one’s life to the CCP and fight when needed during one’s life. When gods and Buddhas eliminate the CCP, all those with the mark will be eliminated. Quitting the CCP organizations is to erase the mark and void the poisonous oath that one made in the past. You will then be blessed by gods and Buddhas and achieve a peaceful life. Are you a CCP member?” He said he was. I asked, “Can I choose you a nickname and help you quit it?” He agreed.
I wished that he would be blessed by gods and Buddhas and asked him to remember the phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” I said, “These two phrases have infinite power and have saved many people.” I told him that Falun Dafa has spread to more than 100 countries and every country is grateful to Master for bringing them hope and bright futures. I also told him that the Tiananmen Square self-immolation 20 years ago was a hoax that Jiang Zemin, the CCPs former leader, fabricated to defame Falun Gong. He listened sincerely and invited me to visit his farm. He asked me to keep his phone number and to call him whenever I visit Shandong.
In the years of making calls on the platform, I have met all kinds of people. Some would listen to me as soon as I started to talk; some would not want to listen; some would verbally abuse me as soon as I started; some would curse the CCP, and yet some others would want to report me to the authorities. Every time I was to make phone calls, I would remind myself to hold up to the standards of a cultivator and improve my xinxing.
I talked to someone on the phone recently, about how the CCP is atheistic and that atheism is harmful for people. I told him that one should quit the CCP as soon as possible to secure a safe future. He told me that he was not a CCP member and that he hated the CCP, but had joined the Young Pioneers as a kid. I said, “I don’t like it either and never wanted to join them.” He quit the Young Pioneers.
I have helped many children quit the CCP’s youth organizations recently. Once, I talked to a young girl. She might have been cautious and didn’t say whether she wanted to quit the Young Pioneers. She asked me to call one of her classmates and said that if her classmate quit, she would too. She gave me the number and I called, but did not get through. I said to the girl, “Auntie is sincerely concerned for you. I am a cultivator, and I don’t tell lies. When you receive blessings in the future, you will know that I have told you the truth. How about I help you to quit now.” She agreed. After I helped her quit, she asked if I could call her again in the future.
