(Minghui.org) May 13 marks the 32nd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public in 1992 and the 25th World Falun Dafa Day. Eleven cities and towns in Canada held flag-raising ceremonies to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day, and 104 proclamations and congratulatory letters were received from elected Canadian officials.
The greetings thanked Master Li and Falun Dafa for the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, as well as the positive impact on society. They praised practitioners for their courage and determination in safeguarding their faith during the harsh persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the past 25 years.

Mark Sutcliffe, mayor of the City of Ottawa, proclaims May 13, 2024 as Falun Dafa Day in the city.
The proclamation reads, in part, “Falun Dafa practitioners follow the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance, incorporating them into their daily lives, striving to become better people in all environments and situations.
“Falun Dafa practitioners in Ottawa and worldwide are joyously celebrating the 32nd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public during May 2024.

Richard Martel, a Member of Parliament for Chicoutimi-Le Fjord in Quebec, sent a letter congratulating on the 32nd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction.
In his congratulatory letter, Richard Martel, a lawmaker from Quebec’s Chicoutimi-Le Fjord, praised practitioners for defending the universal value of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and freedom of belief:
“On the occasion of celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the propagation of Falun Dafa, I am very pleased to express my heartfelt wishes to you, and I commend you for your efforts to uphold universal values such as Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and religious freedom, as well as your resistance to all forms of discrimination and intimidation.”
