(Minghui.org) Practitioners set up a booth in the center of Düsseldorf to introduce Falun Dafa to the public on June 1 and 9, 2024. They also told people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. Many people learned about Falun Dafa and signed the petition calling to end the persecution.

Dusseldorf is an international advertising, clothing, and telecommunications hub, and this ancient city on the east bank of the Rhine attracts tourists from all over the world. For many years, Falun Dafa practitioners have clarified the truth in the center of Dusseldorf every week. The local police and people who work in nearby shops have seen practitioners many times and greeted them enthusiastically when they passed by the booth. Some who knew about the persecution came right over to sign the petition.
Some Chinese students have seen practitioners at this venue before. As one of them who’d already quit the CCP Youth League and Young Pioneers passed by with her classmate, she read the banner aloud: “Live Organ Harvesting Is Against Heaven’s Principles.” She took some information for her classmate.

People Interested in Learning the Practice
A girl in middle school came over to the booth and learned all five exercises. As the practitioners explained the key points of the exercises, the girl kept saying, “Yes, I can feel [the energy flow].” When she heard that she could take a nine-day Falun Dafa class in Düsseldorf, she left her contact information.
A young woman who heard a practitioner’s explanation left her contact information and said, “I also want to participate in the nine-day class. Please notify me.”
While the girl was learning the exercises, her parents asked the practitioner about Falun Dafa. When they heard that the principles of Falun Dafa are Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, they said that this would be very helpful for their daughter’s education. They said that many young people today are following the social trends and aren’t able to distinguish between good and evil. They thought that if children could understand the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, they could judge for themselves whether things were right or wrong. After learning about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa, all three signed the petition.
When a Syrian couple and their daughter passed by the booth, they did not want to stop at first. A practitioner told them a little about Falun Dafa, described the persecution, and then said, “Falun Dafa cultivation directly touches people’s hearts.” The woman suddenly stopped and said, “What you said is of utmost importance. We don’t want to get involved in anything related to politics, but this has to do with people’s hearts and human nature.” The whole family signed the petition to end the persecution and took some informational materials to give to their friends and family.
Chinese Students Quit the CCP Organizations
When a Chinese student passed by the booth, a practitioner asked her if she knew about Falun Dafa. She seemed a little hesitant and did not answer but stopped and listened to what the practitioner had to say. When she heard about the persecution of the practice in China, she said, “I know the CCP is not good and has done a lot of bad things. Why else would I have left China? I’ve read about Falun Dafa on the Internet, and I actually understand it all.” She agreed to quit the Youth League and the Young Pioneers.
When two Chinese college students stopped to read the banners, a practitioner asked them if they’d heard about Falun Dafa in China. Both of them said they’d seen it on TV and in their textbooks. The practitioner told them about the CCP’s persecution and the lies it fabricated and said she hoped that they would use their stay in Germany to go online to learn the truth about Falun Dafa. When she asked them if they had ever joined the CCP or its affiliated organizations, they said that their school had required them to join the Young Pioneers and the Youth League. After they learned what the CCP has done, they quit both organizations.
A young Chinese mother and her elementary school-aged son stopped to read the banner at the booth from a distance. When a practitioner walked over and asked her if she knew about Falun Dafa, she said she knew a little. When the practitioner told her about quitting the CCP for a safe future, the woman said that she and her son wanted to withdraw from the Youth League and the Young Pioneers.
