(Minghui.org) I am an elderly Falun Dafa practitioner. I had little education and can only use simple words to let people know how great and compassionate Master is and how miraculous Falun Dafa is.
I used to have health problems and had difficulty walking. My ailments disappeared after I practiced Falun Dafa. I am very grateful to Master for saving me. People around me have witnessed my changes. Many of them have started learning Falun Dafa.
I stepped forward to validate the Fa despite the pressure after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Dafa in July 1999. I helped distribute Minghui Weekly and other truth-clarification materials. I have never delayed in distributing them, no matter how difficult it has been. I also participate in producing truth-clarification materials.
I am able to do all these tasks thanks to Master’s strengthening. I use my age to validate the Fa. I tell people that I practice Falun Dafa when I go to shopping malls, markets, or other places. I tell them that I am in good health and clear-headed, though I am 90 years old. People are amazed. I then clarify the truth to them to save them.
I know that Dafa practitioners have missions. We must do the three things well, cultivate diligently, and follow Master to our original homes.
Stand Up Again and Hurry Up in Cultivation

I feel very happy that I am able to participate in activities to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.
I am an elderly practitioner, yet a new disciple. Why do I say that? I obtained the Fa before the persecution started. I felt that Falun Dafa was so great that I studied the Fa diligently and squeezed in time to attend Falun Dafa group activities. I feel so sorry that I later stopped practicing Falun Dafa.
One leader from the town government severely defamed Falun Dafa and Master during a CCP member meeting after the persecution started in 1999. He came to talk to me arrogantly after the meeting. I became enraged with him and didn’t put up with him. He wanted to have me arrested, but the leader of my work unit protected me and didn’t let him do it. One year later I was told that someone had written a guarantee statement on my behalf to say that I had given up practicing Falun Dafa and that person had died from cancer. I didn’t know until then that there was a guarantee statement under my name. Nothing is accidental. It must be that Master used that person’s mouth to let me know.
I managed to keep one copy of Zhuan Falun at home. The police took all my other Dafa books. I moved home four times in the 19 years after my retirement from 2002 to 2023, and I lost Zhuan Falun. I felt my heart was broken because of that. I became an everyday person again. I neither studied the Fa nor practiced the exercises. My belief in Falun Dafa and Master was weakened.
Connecting with Dafa Again
My lower back was severely injured while working in 2022. I couldn’t move the left side of my body. My legs and feet became numb and I couldn’t stand. My face drooped. I had to toil in bed all day. The doctor said that I needed surgery, but there were risks. I thought I might be completely paralyzed after the surgery and decided not to do it. I went for various treatments. I was able to stand, but I could still barely walk. I felt that I was finished.
When I felt hopeless, a practitioner in my residential area came to see me. I felt so happy that Master would save me, but also ashamed of myself for not cultivating anymore. I wanted to cry at that moment. She didn’t criticize me or blame me. She helped me and my wife withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. She told me how to write a statement and have it published on the Minghui website. I felt relieved and energetic. She later sent me the whole set of Dafa books, Master’s lectures, and the exercise music. She corrected my exercise movements. She sent me Minghui Weekly every several days. With this practitioner’s help, I gradually assimilated to Dafa. My xinxing improved gradually.
Master Strengthened Me So I Could Clarify the Truth
Master published new articles in 2023. I realized that Dafa practitioners have a special mission, which is to clarify the truth to people and save them. I should cultivate myself well and harmonize the whole body. I should save sentient beings who are poisoned by the CCP.
I was an introvert and didn’t speak a lot. I had fear and was afraid of losing face. Thanks to the practitioners’ help and encouragement, I took my first step in clarifying the truth. I went to a market to clarify the truth. Some people didn’t listen to me and quickly moved aside. Some asked me to stay at home because of my age. Some spoke ill of me behind my back.
I stood at the roadside worrying. I saw one person walk back and forth in front of me. I asked him what he was doing. He said that he had lost his tricycle. I asked him not to worry and I would help him look for his tricycle. He sounded like he was not a local and was not familiar with the town. He became very anxious and started to sweat heavily. I asked him where he had left his tricycle. He said it was just where we were. I reckoned that he must have forgotten where he left it. I led him over ten meters away and saw a tricycle. He said it was his tricycle. He beamed and kept thanking me.
I took this opportunity to clarify the truth to him and helped him quit the CCP. I asked him to recite “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good whenever he had time. I told him it could keep him safe in his difficult times or during catastrophes. He shouted “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” on the spot.
I realized that Master had arranged this for me. Many incidents like this have happened to me. Master is with me all the time protecting me and looking after me.
