A Reminder to Practitioners in Vietnam

(Minghui.org) I went to Vietnam for a vacation in mid-March of this year. When I visited Hanoi City, Ho Chi Minh City, and Halong Bay, I saw some disheveled people with indecent behavior at many tourist attractions.

Those people were holding poster boards about Falun Gong to show to tourists. They didn’t have any other Falun Gong materials with them. The group included children, and adults with disabilities. Some of the tourists clearly despised them. The tour guide even said to us, “Those people were hired by Falun Gong. The children don’t know what this is all about and the disabled people need money, so Falun Gong hires them to spread information against the Chinese Communist Party.” Hearing what the guide said, none of the tourists were interested in learning more about Falun Gong and only wanted to stay away from these “strange people.”

I have been to many places in the United States of America, Canada, and Taiwan, but have never seen anything like this. The practitioners in those places all dressed quite nicely. They warmly greeted the tourists, were very friendly, and they left me with a very good impression. That’s why I agreed to quit the Communist Party while on a vacation in Japan and later began to practice Falun Gong myself.

I’d like to remind the practitioners in Vietnam to immediately stop those people from “promoting” the practice at tourist sites. They aren’t promoting Dafa, they are destroying Dafa’s image. We know that the communist regime would do anything to advance their propaganda. If those people were hired by the communist regime, we should expose them and not let such things happen again. If possible, it’s also very necessary to clarify the facts to the tour guides.
