(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in Munich, Germany, held activities on April 24, 2024 at Marienplatz, and on May 4 on Sendlingen Strasse in downtown Munich. They introduced Falun Gong to the public and exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) crime of organ harvesting from persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. The events drew the attention of passersby, and many people signed a petition in support of bringing the persecution of Falun Gong to an end.

Falun Gong practitioners in Munich held an event at Marienplatz on April 24, 2024 in front of City Hall, to showcase the beauty of Falun Gong and expose the CCP’s persecution of the practice.

On May 4, 2024, Falun Gong practitioners held an event on a popular pedestrian street in Munich where many people signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution in China.

Isabella (right) and her sister sign the petition to show their support for Falun Gong.

Isabella and her sister, both Germans, are studying in Seattle, Washington (in the U.S.A.), and had returned home to visit family. When passing by Marienplatz they signed the petition in support of Falun Gong practitioners. They said they hope to help end the persecution.

Isabella remarked that they had also seen Falun Gong activities in Seattle. “When we were in Seattle,” she said, “Falun Gong practitioners also had a petition, and they explained the situation to us in great detail. At that time, I thought that if I meet Falun Gong practitioners again, I will sign their petition. Because Falun Gong looks interesting.”

Her sister added, “I just saw the petition against [the CCP’s forced organ harvesting], and I wanted to support Falun Gong. I felt that I had to sign it. As you can imagine, it’s really cruel, and I wouldn’t want that to happen to me. That’s why I want to help people who suffer the cruelty of a persecution so that it doesn’t happen again.”

From their conversation with practitioners, the young women learned that people who practice Falun Gong strive to live according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and that the teachings are offered for free throughout the world. But in China, for 25 years, the Chinese regime has forbidden people to practice Falun Gong.

Isabella said, “[These principles] are the values that we should share, which represent trust, love and compassion for each other. I think it’s a shame that these values are fading away in our society. Because we are all human beings, we should support each other and not make a mess of things.”

“It’s extremely important that people support each other and get help when needed,” she added.

Her sister said that the atmosphere at the practitioners’ event was very good, and she was impressed by the banners and the exercise demonstrations. She also said that she appreciated learning about the forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience in China.

Mr. Nieusor, who is of Uyghur ethnicity, supports Falun Gong practitioners who suffer under the CCP’s persecution.

Mr. Nieusor, a Uyghur, learned the truth about Falun Gong for the first time and was fascinated to see Falun Gong practitioners meditating. After talking to several practitioners, he signed the petition to stop the CCP’s persecution.

He said that the CCP “opposes faith, opposes the people, and kills not only Uyghurs, but also other people of faith, which is cruel.” He signed the petition to show his stance against the CCP’s persecution.

Charlie, a physiotherapist, also added his signature calling to stop the CCP from harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners. He said, “Such behavior is an absolute violation of human rights. It is well known that the Chinese regime treats its compatriots with impunity, especially people of faith.” He said he stopped to sign the petition “to express solidarity with the oppressed groups and, of course support people suffering under undignified conditions.”
