(Minghui.org) In advance of World Falun Dafa Day, the Mayor of Pickerington, Ohio proclaimed May 13, 2024 as Falun Dafa Day.
Proclamation from Mayor Lee A. Gray of the City of Pickerington, Ohio
The proclamation reads, “Across our country and around the world, millions will celebrate the anniversary of this virtuous practice and honor its values of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance.”
“In Ohio there are numerous practice sites where healthy exercises can be learned and practice free of charge. The principles of seeking the harmonious living among all peoples have been widely appreciated by people in both the local and state communities.”
“On this 32nd anniversary of its founding, it is important to recognize the ongoing legacy of commitment to truth and compassion that has been brought into the world by those Falun Dafa practitioners who have persevered in the face of the crackdown in China since July 1999.”
