(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Jinmei and Ms. Chen Hongmei Arrested

4. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Several Practitioners Harassed

6. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Ma Yuefen Detained
1. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Jinmei and Ms. Chen Hongmei Arrested
Ms. Chen Jinmei and Ms. Chen Hongmei rented a home in Xiezhuang Township. They were arrested on the evening of April 9, 2024, by officers from the Xiezhuang Township Police Station. Their home was ransacked. The police confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, and notebooks. The two practitioners were taken to Qingyuan County Detention Center. Ms. Chen Hongmei was detained for 15 days.
2. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Leng Xiaocheng Arrested
Officers from the Meilihu Police Station in Jinan City, Shandong Province, together with those from a police station in Bengbu City, Anhui Province, arrested Mr. Leng Xiaocheng downstairs at his apartment building around 6 p.m. on April 11, 2024. Mr. Leng’s company was ransacked. The officers notified his family that a criminal detention notice would be mailed to his home. On the evening of April 12, three plainclothes officers from the police station went to his company to search the place again, and confiscated some items. Further details are not available.
3. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Jinping Arrested
Ms. Li Jinping, 54, from Dongguan Sub-district was arrested by officers from the Dongjinzhuang Township Police Station on April 9, 2024. The officers ransacked her home. In addition to Falun Gong books and several thousand yuan in cash, they also confiscated two computers and a printer that she used for work.
It was reported that this arrest was a coordinated operation by Baoding authorities, and five practitioners were arrested. The other four practitioners were Xiaoqin, Wei, Zhou Lanying, and Zhi Zhanmin, all from the western suburbs. The officers had been monitoring Xiaoqin’s home for some time. They finally arrested three practitioners from Wei’s home and arrested Zhi at seven or eight o’clock that evening.
4. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Several Practitioners Harassed
Police from Nanzheng County Police Department harassed several elderly practitioners in Hantai District, including Ms. Jia Guiqin, Ms. Wang Xiuzhen, Ms. Li Gaiying, and Ms. Yu Feng’e, around March 7, 2024.
Among them, Yu Feng’e is over 80 years old, Jia Guiqin is about 76 years old, and Wang Xiuzhen and Li Gaiying are about 70 years old. The officers worked in pairs. They first put pressure on practitioners’ family members and then went to the practitioners’ homes to harass them.
5. [Nehe City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Feng Zhijie Held in Detention Center
Mr. Feng Zhijie was arrested by the police on October 15, 2023. He has been held in Qiqihar City Detention Center for six months. It was reported that the police, prosecutors and court personnel will try him in the Fuyu County Court. The specific date is not known.
6. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Ma Yuefen Detained
Qi Shicheng, head of Longshou Domestic Security Division, together with four or five police officers arrested Mr. Ma Yuefen on March 12, 2024, and detained him for seven days.
On March 13 and 14, officers from the Kuangshan Road Police Station also harassed Zhao Peiwen, Wang Qiu’e, Liu Guihua, and Zhang Yonglong. When they harassed the practitioners, some officers secretly took photos and videos of them.
