(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held an information event on the Reesendamm Bridge in Hamburg, Germany, to tell people about Falun Dafa and expose the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China on November 23, 2024. Reesendamm Bridge is a tourist attraction on Jungfernstieg Street in the center of Hamburg that practitioners come to almost every week. The past Saturday was a day of fresh air and bright sunshine, and many people were out enjoying the nearby Christmas market.

Falun Gong exercise demonstration
The practitioners’ display boards caught the attention of passersby, including local residents and tourists. Many people gladly accepted the fliers handed to them by practitioners, and some stopped to talk and ask questions.
Asian Tourists Encounter Falun Gong
Many Chinese visitors were surprised to see a Falun Dafa banner. Several young people took the Chinese language leaflets and bowed slightly to show their gratitude.
A Chinese couple pushing a child in a stroller stopped and happily took photos of the booth and display boards and accepted the leaflets with a smile.
A young Asian woman said that she was from Vietnam and was currently a care provider in Hamburg. She smiled and said, “I want to learn these exercises too. They will definitely help me with my stressful job.”
Young People Express Willingness to Spread the Truth
Two young people from Hamburg stood in front of the booth and recorded a video that included practitioners and the display boards. A practitioner asked them if they knew about Falun Dafa, and one of the young people replied, “Well, I don't know yet, but my friend seems to be quite familiar with it.” The practitioner then told them about the great benefits of Falun Dafa and about the persecution of practitioners in China.
After listening, one of them said, “This is really shocking information. Thank you very much.” They took fliers and said they would learn more about Falun Gong and share the truth on social media.
People Agree with Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance
An elderly man in a wheelchair was pleased to take a flier and expressed his strong agreement with Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. He said with emotion that he understood a truth, which was to be grateful to the Creator, to be grateful for life, and for all the good things he had experienced.
A man stopped to ask about Falun Gong. He listened carefully to a practitioners’ explanation, nodded in agreement, and said, “This is very meaningful. I will take a closer look at the flier. Thank you.”
A woman from Hawaii said that she already knew what Falun Dafa was and wanted to learn the exercises while she was traveling. She asked about the time and location of the local group practice. After getting the information, the woman smiled and thanked the practitioners. She wished the practitioners a Merry Christmas in Hawaiian and German.
