(Minghui.org) The 21st China Fahui successfully ended on the Minghui website on November 19, 2024. There were 43 published articles, representing practitioners in China from a wide variety of age groups, occupations, and regions. These practitioners shared how they adhered to the core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance in family life, in the workplace, and in dealing with inner conflict, while facing enormous pressure from the 25-year-long persecution.

Once published on the Chinese Minghui website, these articles were translated into over 20 languages. They were read by Falun Dafa practitioners around the world who found that the experiences of the Chinese practitioners were a valuable source of insight and motivation that helped them continue striving forward to improve their character.

Seeing the Importance of Maintaining Righteous Thoughts

Judy is a 73-year-old practitioner in New Zealand who has been practicing Falun Dafa for 15 years. “My overall impression of the sharing articles I read is the steadfast determination shown by the Chinese practitioners, which is truly inspirational,” she said.

A theme that stood out to Judy when reading the articles was how practitioners in China were able to view the events that happened in their lives through the lens of a cultivator, and with righteous thoughts. For instance, when a practitioner shared that things started taking a turn for the worse at her job, as described in the article “My Cultivation Journey While Working as an HR Manager,” the author chose to look inward for her own shortcomings and found her arrogance.

“When she directly addressed her shortcomings, her situation eased,” said Judy. “Through her interactions with employees and management she demonstrated the power and wisdom of Dafa. Wisdom comes from dealing with our shortcomings quickly and using righteous thoughts.”

Another article that stood out to Judy was “Cultivating Diligently and Assisting Master in Saving People,” where a practitioner’s faith carried her through multiple challenges she experienced in her life, including physical ailments. They strengthened her perseverance and courage in telling people the facts of Falun Dafa and the persecution. “It’s like Master takes you to another level for clarifying the truth. Would I have the same courage? I would hope so. But part of me questions my ability to do so,” said Judy.

For Judy, the experience-sharing conference is a cherished opportunity to hear the voices of practitioners from China. “They are most-severely persecuted, yet they press on with their efforts using righteous thoughts,” she said. “[It inspires me] to keep being consistent in my efforts to save sentient beings, to keep cultivating in Dafa, and to be more compassionate.”

She would also like to express her appreciation to the practitioners in China for their continued efforts. “We think of you often. We are doing our best to help you become free,” said Judy. “Your efforts prompt us to do even better in our environment, and you inspire us to be more diligent. You are the epitome of diligence in the Fa. Thank you.”

Being Moved by Practitioners’ Compassion

Jarrod, a 45-year-old practitioner residing in Australia, declared that a deep impression he got from the articles was the enormity of the challenges that practitioners in China had to overcome.

“Sometimes it feels as if life and cultivation can be hard,” he said. “And then I read about an article where the author is the same age as me and has cultivated almost the same length of time as me, and he’s been in prison for over 20 years.”

“I’m quite shocked at what they have endured during the years of persecution,” added Jarrod. “It’s really almost beyond my comprehension. And yet they still seem so patient, persistent, and diligent. It’s quite incredible.”

Jarrod has been practicing Falun Dafa for 24 years, and is a small business owner. Reading the experiences of the practitioners in China has inspired him to do even better when cultivating himself in his work and everyday life. “It makes me want to be more patient and more solid,” he said.

He also highlights the importance of the China experience-sharing conference, calling it a “priceless way of sharing the profound experience and learning” from the Chinese practitioners. “It connects the global community of [practitioners] and helps everyone improve. I am deeply moved by their kindness and their endurance,” said Jarrod. “Every single one of [the Chinese practitioners] is important, while every single cultivation journey is priceless, and that they are truly an inspiration to us all, throughout the world.”

Finding Hidden Attachments Through Other Practitioners’ Experiences

Deepak, a software engineer from India, has been cultivating in Falun Dafa for 19 years. “I have no words to express my feelings [for how Chinese practitioners] overcome all those difficulties and are still able to clarify the truth to the people. At the same time they are setting an example of doing well in their personal cultivation, looking within for each and every thing in their personal life,” he said.

Although Falun Dafa practitioners in India are free to follow their faith and are often supported by the government, Deepak said that the selflessness demonstrated by practitioners in China who continue to raise awareness of the persecution is something he can learn from.

“As I read [the articles], I can see that practitioners are doing an extraordinary thing without thinking about themselves,” he said, “going and clarifying the truth to the people. That itself inspires me to really to look at myself, and ask, ‘Would I have been able to do that if I was in the same situation? If not, then why? What is the problem within me?' And I try to find what attachments I have and what I have to let go, like fear, seeking comfort, and laziness, and remove those.”

“Falun Dafa actually is about thinking about others before oneself. And for most of the articles which we read, [the Chinese practitioners] write them from their hearts.”

Deepak thanked the practitioners in China for writing and sharing their experiences. “It has helped us a lot in improving our xinxing, motivating us, and also giving us the opportunity to find our shortcomings so that we can do better. Thanks so much,” he said. “Though it is a virtual Fahui, the effect is just like any real Fahui. It is as if you are attending a conference.”
