(Minghui.org) During the recent 21st China Fahui in November, 2024, 43 articles received from practitioners in China were published on the Minghui website. Practitioners described how they adhered to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance despite adversities. Many practitioners from around the world said that they benefited tremendously from these cultivation sharing articles.

The following feedback was received from several practitioners in the United States. Upon reading about the practitioners in China being able to remain diligent, consistently looking within, and cultivating solidly, they saw gaps in their own cultivation practice and decided to do better.

Improving Amid Conflicts

Mr. Wang began to practice Falun Dafa over 20 years ago, and currently works as an engineer for a large multinational automotive company. After reading the China Fahui articles, he saw many areas where he could do better and improve his xinxing. He explained, “I understand that nothing is accidental and cultivating myself is very important. When conflicts happen, I sometimes realize they were tests, but I still wasn’t able to handle them as a Dafa practitioner. I can tell that practitioners in China have stronger righteous thoughts.”

In one of the articles, “Caregivers Who Take Up Falun Dafa in My Mother’s Home,” the author talked about the blessings that Falun Dafa brought to the family. Several caregivers who worked in her family and looked after her mother witnessed this, and changed their attitudes toward Dafa, and some even became practitioners. This reminded Mr. Wang how he could do better in educating his children. Although he expected them to do things that they were supposed to do and practice Dafa, they always resisted. “Sometimes they did better just to please me, instead of truly feeling how great Falun Dafa is. Looking back, I realized that my children didn’t see how wonderful Dafa is through me; otherwise, they might have already begun to practice. I learned that truly cultivating myself well will help others to know Dafa.”

The author also talked about the conflicts with her mother in the article. Similarly Mr. Wang’s mother is also a practitioner, and she cultivated well and improved her xinxing. But whenever he talked with her, Mr. Wang was impatient and complained about the “troubles” she caused. He often regretted this, but he complained again the next time they talked. “I did a little better when I talked with others, although I still didn’t do well. I now realize that I was being selfish—I always thought my things were more important. In addition, I have issues related to sentimentality, and I thought that hurting my mother had no consequences. I lacked kindness and forgiveness. I should have suppressed my impatient and negative thoughts, and replaced them with a calm mind and compassion.”

Mr. Wang realized maintaining a high xinxing standard meant that he needed to study the Falun Dafa teachings more and always consider these conflicts as opportunities to improve. “In the past, I was thankful for cultivation opportunities when I did well, but I complained when things did not go as I expected. Now I know it happened because I failed to look inward and found excuses. That’s why I am always happy to read China Fahui articles, as they motivate me to do better,” he said.

Treating Others with Compassion

Ms. Liu lives in Texas and she began practicing Falun Dafa before the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to suppress the practice in 1999. After reading the article, “‘Cooking’ for All Beings and Practitioners,” she was moved, since the author followed Master’s teachings and did not complain or make excuses when tribulations arrived. She just viewed them as opportunities to improve.

When buying a house, the author had to sell her own apartment at a lower price to have the deposit for the new house. But construction took a long time to finish. The seller not only increased the price, but also gave the author a hard time. The author nonetheless remained calm and always considered herself as a practitioner. “If the house was meant to be mine, then it will be; if not, then it won’t. But I didn’t want to break the contract,” wrote the author. With a positive attitude, she was considerate of others, and was even willing to suffer the loss herself. In the end, she bought another place at a lower price and it worked out well. During the process of selling, buying, and renovation, it appeared she had lost a small amount of money on the surface, but she could feel Master’s care and guidance.

Ms. Liu learned that interacting with others with an appropriate mindset is critical for a practitioner. Everyone in this world is Master’s relative, and no matter what they’ve done to us, we need to treat them with compassion. “Real estate business often involves lots of money, and sometimes conflicts arise. As a landlord, I have seen all kinds of renters of different ages and professions, from various ethnic groups. Due to human notions, I sometimes judged them, depending on whether they came from mainstream society or not,” Ms. Liu explained. “This article helped me recognize the areas where I’ve fallen short. When we run into conflicts, they could be opportunities to settle karmic debts I accumulated in the past.”

From another angle, people who live in this society all have their challenges. “They probably suffered in previous lifetimes before interacting with us during this Fa-rectification period today. So we should not miss any opportunity,” she said.

Solid Cultivation and Validating Dafa

Ms. Yu lives in New York, and began practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. She can still remember how excited she was the first time she read China Fahui articles in 2004. She explained that the articles help her a lot every year.

“When I read the articles this year, I was touched that practitioners could cultivate solidly in various environments. They were able to discipline themselves with Dafa’s teachings, and this is a process for them to validate Dafa,” she explained.

For example, in the article of “I Can See Again,” the author owned a business, and said her vision became so dim that she could not see the goods. “Between going for treatment in a hospital and keeping faith in Falun Dafa as well as Master, the author decided in the end to place her trust in Master—and her vision returned to normal,” Ms. Yu said.

Although the overseas situation is different from that in China, the expectation of Dafa for practitioners is the same, she explained. “Compared to practitioners in China, I found myself unable to endure hardship, and I was unwilling to be compassionate. I did not put my heart into many things I did—I just wanted to get them done. This is essentially fooling myself,” Ms. Yu added. “I didn’t realize that all of these are opportunities to validate Dafa, and I need to do well.”

Honesty and Purity

Ms. Xie, an economics professor from Michigan, said that she not only read the China Fahui articles, she also listened to them on Minghui Radio. She was moved by practitioners who were able to make progress in cultivation and become selfless. “I’m fortunate that compassionate Master gave us this opportunity to see these cultivation stories because they are also very important for the future,” she said.

From these articles, Ms. Xie also noticed that these authors were very sincere, with pure hearts. This reminded her to memorize Master’s teachings and cultivate diligently. For example, the author of, “Amazing Changes After We Memorized the Teachings” described how she and other practitioners improved significantly. In “A Teacher’s Journey of Overcoming Resentment and Finding Peace,” the author wrote, “Attachment to superiority leads to conflict.”

Ms. Xie said she felt the same way. Feeling superior means one is attached, him or herself. This is not compassion and is not consistent with Dafa’s principles. “As practitioners, we need to be selfless and compassionate. Anything that blocks us from helping to save people, and anything that interferes with us should be removed,” she explained.

Similarly, the author of the article “Treating Young People with Pure Kindness” talked about how she approached people with patience and sincerity. Instead of being influenced by superficial phenomena, she was able to talk with everyone depending on their situation and help them learn the facts about Falun Dafa.

“I want to thank Master and practitioners in China. By reading the China Fahui articles and learning how practitioners remained steadfast in cultivation, we overseas practitioners can also become motivated to do the three things well,” Ms. Xie said.
