(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ximei Tried
2. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Shuhong Tried
3. [Huining County, Gansu Province] Ms. Shao Yanbo Detained
4. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Ying Detained
5. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wei Honggang Detained for Seven Days
6. [Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Li Caijun Released After a Month of Detention
1. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ximei Tried
Ms. Zhang Ximei was arrested by Tianwei Police Station officers on April 9, 2024. The Jingxiu District Procuratorate issued the arrest warrant against her on May 22. She was tried in the Baoding City Detention Center by the Gaoyang Court on November 13, 2024.
2. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Shuhong Tried
Ms. Wang Shuhong, 56, of Futou village, Hexiwu Town, was tried on November 15, 2024.
3. [Huining County, Gansu Province] Ms. Shao Yanbo Detained
Ms. Shao Yanbo was arrested by Huining County Police Department officers in either September or October 2024. She is being held in the Huining County Detention Center.
4. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Ying Detained
Ms. Wang Ying was arrested by Longnan Police Department officers on the afternoon of November 4, 2024. The officers ransacked her home as well as her parents’ home. She is being detained. Details are unknown.
5. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wei Honggang Detained for Seven Days
Mr. Wei Honggang of Baiyilaga Township was arrested at home by three officers from Pingfeng Township Police Station in Qianguo County on the morning of October 29, 2024. The officers ransacked his home and seized a Falun pin. He was held in the Qianguo County Detention Cente for seven days and released on November 5, 2024.
6. [Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Li Caijun Released After a Month of Detention
Ms. Li Caijun was arrested on September 22, 2024 and taken to the Ningbo City Brainwashing Center. She has been released on October 22, 2024.
