Most people that I have come across chose to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) after they learned the facts about Falun Dafa. But the situation is quite different with young people, especially those working in government agencies. A great number of them have not heard about the facts about Falun Dafa, and it is quite difficult to run into them except for Sundays or festive holidays. I have also noticed that many practitioners tend to stay away from young people when clarifying the facts face to face.
Master said,
“When I was born, many Gods came down with me. From then on, this happened every year and Gods have been coming down. By the time I started to teach the Fa, those Gods came down like snowflakes—it was just that many. I calculated their ages now, and from when I started to spread the Fa till now, they would be young people around twenty-five years old, many of whom really have not been saved. They were all Gods, coming down to Earth, and they scattered to all areas of the world.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2016 New York Fa Conference,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XIV)
I adjusted my state of mind and started paying more attention to clarifying the truth to young people. When they refused to listen to me talking, I would show them some videos on my cell phone, and the effect has been quite good.
Nowadays, many people hold the view that “seeing is believing.” After watching the videos, most of those who held a dismissive attitude would agree to quit the CCP. I would also give them a USB drive to take home to show their family members and friends, and they were happy to take it.
Once, I went out to clarify the truth with a fellow practitioner. We saw a car parked by the roadside with the door half open. A young man in his 30s, half lying with his feet stretching towards the windshield, was playing with his cell phone. I walked up to him and said, “Hey, young man, let me give you an amulet to put in the car to keep you safe.”
“What amulet?” When he saw the amulet I gave him, he scoffed with a smile and said, “Time has long changed, and you’re still talking about Falun Gong!” He then turned back to playing with his phone.
I didn’t give up and said, “Dafa has now spread to over 100 countries around the world, and there are also many people practicing it in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, but the CCP tries to fool the masses in China by imposing internet censorship, and the ‘self-immolation at Tiananmen Square’ is also a hoax.” As I was talking, I took out my cell phone and showed him some videos. He became interested and turned around to look at them.
I also showed him some videos of grand parades by Falun Gong practitioners around the world. He was really surprised and said, “Wow! Falun Gong is so impressive! Really impressive!” He kept watching the videos with great interest.
“Young man, here is a USB drive with the videos.” He was very happy and agreed to quit the CCP as well. He took the USB drive and other truth-clarification materials and said, “Auntie, I’ll give you some money for all these.” I told him that we were all volunteers; our wish is for people to understand the facts and we would not accept any money.
He then took out a small bag of fresh radishes from the car, saying that they were from his mom, and that I must take them. I tried to give him some money, but he refused to accept any. I couldn’t say no to his genuine gratitude anymore, so I accepted the radishes. He was really happy and kept thanking me. I was quite touched by his kind gratitude and the excitement he showed after learning the facts.
Some days ago, I was riding slowly with a fellow practitioner along a tourist road under an ancient river dike. We saw two young women who looked like college students sitting on the grass, swiping their phones.
I stopped and walked up to them, asking why they were not in school. One of them told me indifferently that they were on fall break. I asked if they had heard about Falun Dafa and offered to give them a USB drive. They looked very shocked and said, “For so many years now, Falun Gong has long been eliminated. How could you still talk about Falun Gong?” As they were saying this, they stepped back, trying to keep a distance from me.
“You have been deceived by the CCP,” I said to them, while taking out my cell phone to show them videos of Dafa around the world, especially those with professors and scientists marching in the grand parades. They were overwhelmed and kept saying, “How can it be like this?!” I also showed them videos of Falun Dafa spreading widely in India. Their eyes were wide open, and they kept saying, “Wow! Wow!”
By then, they had become more relaxed with me and started asking all kinds of questions. One asked, “Do you get paid for doing this?”
“Of course not. We use our own money to buy USB drives and print materials.” They were touched by what I told them. The were very happy to get the USB drive and the booklets, and agreed to quit the CCP. They kept thanking me. They also promised to pass the materials to others after they finish watching them.
The success rate for truth-clarification to young people is quite high because they have less notions, and most of them feel resentful towards the CCP for the difficulties they experience in daily life and work. Many of them hope for a quick end of the CCP. Some of them said that their suffering will not end until the CCP collapses.
We had a really hot summer this year. One early morning, I went out to clarify the truth with a fellow practitioner on our bikes. I saw a young man swiping his phone by the roadside, so I rode up to him and asked, “Young man, are you waiting for someone here?”
“What do you want?” he asked back.
“Well, I just want to ask if you know about the ‘Quit the CCP’ movement.”
“You must have been deceived,” he said.
“Young man, the CCP has been fooling all of us all these years. Falun Dafa has spread to over 100 countries around the world, and it is persecuted only in China. We need to know the truth and stay away from the CCP.” I then took out my phone to show him the videos.
“Do you know what I do for a living? I’m with law enforcement. Aren’t you afraid of being arrested?”
“What you do is not important to me at all. I just want to tell you the facts for your own sake. I’ve come across police officers before, and they not only accepted materials from me, but also quit the CCP. Gods will protect all those who want to be good people, regardless of what they do for a living.”
As I was talking, I showed him videos of Dafa spreading around the world and grand parades. He watched attentively and kept nodding.
“You see, what a miserable society China has become these days, with so many natural and man-made disasters. Isn’t it terrible?”
He nodded his head.
“I bet you’re a member of the CCP. Let me help you quit the evil Party.” But before I could finish, he suddenly walked away and told me not to follow him.
When I tried to catch up with him, I saw a police car parked on the opposite side of the road and there were a number of officers in the car. He walked up to the car, turned around and gestured me not to get close. He then hopped into the car and left.
Only then did I remember that he was a law enforcement officer. I regret that I wasn’t able to help him quit the CCP, but I also felt happy for him that he had learned some facts. I wished that he would have another opportunity to quit the CCP one day.
It is very important to keep an upright state of mind without fear when clarifying the truth to people. Our strong righteous thoughts can eliminate the bad elements behind people. When we do things that are in line with the Fa, Master would strengthen us with compassion, and our wisdom would keep coming forth. If we are unsure in our own hearts, the energy field we have would not be good; we would not be able to dissolve the evil elements; and our truth-clarification wouldn’t be effective.
Time is flying, and I hope that more and more practitioners will step out to clarify the truth to people face to face, so that more people can be saved. This is also what Master expects to see.
One day, I saw a couple sitting by the roadside to enjoy some cool air. I walked up to talk to them. The wife agreed with what I said straight away and quit the CCP, but the husband’s attitude was rather dismissive, saying, “You say the CCP is bad. I agree. You should take it down, and it can’t stand a fight. But I don’t believe that quitting the CCP can ensure safety. There is no god. I only believe in myself, so don’t talk to me like this.”
“Well, since you already know that the CCP is bad, why not quit it? It’s true that gods will eliminate the CCP. If you quit it, you would not be implicated.”
I continued, “We Chinese call ourselves the descendants of Yan and Huang emperors, and China was traditionally known as the Land of the Divine. It was Marxism-Leninism from the West that spread atheism in China. We have been brainwashed since childhood and abandoned our traditional beliefs. It is precisely because people no longer believe in gods that various natural and man-made disasters occur one after another.”
“Falun Gong practitioners told people that the CCP was harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners years ago, but how many people believed it at that time? Some even said we were spreading rumors. Now, such crimes have become common in China and everyone can be the next target.”
“You’re right,” the wife said, “Nowadays, parents have to keep a close eye on their children, and even some young men were kidnapped and had their organs extracted. This society has really come to a terrible end.”
The husband changed his attitude. He took the booklets from me and agreed to quit the CCP.
Right now, the entire Chinese society is in dire straits and a great number of people are struggling with poverty. My own financial situation is not good, either. I paid for social security earlier and I now have a monthly pension of just over 1,000 yuan. My son is still single and has a mortgage to pay. Occasionally, I thought that maybe I should find a job to earn some money to help him. But as soon as I thought about the precious time Master has extended for us to save more people by enormous sacrifice and endurance, and the sacred mission we have on our shoulders, I gave up the idea.
In view of both the celestial phenomena changes and those in the human world, there is really not much time left for us, and everything has come to the surface. We really shouldn’t waste the precious time we still have on making money.
My son has always been very supportive of Dafa, and he doesn’t want me to spend time to find a job. With his support, I have more time to do the three things.
Currently, many people in China have lost their jobs or had cuts in pay, but my son has been blessed. Thanks to a business deal, his boss offered him a bonus of 200,000 yuan, which helped us a lot in easing our financial burden, and our life has also become more comfortable. My son knows that it was Master who helped us.
Master told us,
“The purpose of Dafa disciples spreading the truth is to be able to temper themselves amid tribulations and thus shed karma while consummating themselves, and this makes practicing cultivation even more meaningful and magnificent. This isn’t done for Dafa, either; it’s done for the cultivators themselves.” (“Stay Far Away From Peril”)
Over the years, whenever I slacked off in cultivation and was less diligent, I would have a same dream, in which I lost my bike and couldn’t find it anywhere. I knew that Master was dropping me a hint that I should catch up quickly.
I am determined to follow Master’s teachings, cultivate myself solidly, and do the three things well in the remaining time.
