(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yang Chuanhou Arrested
2. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Lirong Arrested
3. [Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province] Li Wen and Wang Hong Detained
4. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Face Trial
5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qiao Shuzhen Harassed
6. [Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Gao Qunying Harassed
1. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yang Chuanhou Arrested
Mr. Yang Chuanhou from the Suihua area was arrested in a rental property in Zhaodong City (under the jurisdiction of Suihua) at the end of September 2024.
2. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Lirong Arrested
Ms. Zhang Lirong was arrested by Tuanjie Police Station officers in September 2024. The officers ransacked her home, seized several Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong. They made her submit to a physical exam in a hospital and then took her to a detention center. She was denied admission due to her blood pressure (systolic reading at 210 mmHg) and released.
3. [Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province] Li Wen and Wang Hong Detained
Li Wen and Wang Hong, genders unknown, were arrested by Nankang Residential District officers in September 2024. Their homes were ransacked. They have been detained since.
4. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Face Trial
Ms. Li Xiuqin, in her 70s; Ms. Geng Yuanyuan, in her 30s; Mr. Bai Zisheng, in his 60s; and Ms. Zhu Guizhi, in her 50s, were indicted in September 2024. They are facing trial in the Wucheng County Court.
5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Qiao Shuzhen Harassed
Ms. Qiao Shuzhen, in her 70s, of Bin County was harassed at home on the evening of September 26, 2024, by officers from the Bin County Domestic Security Division and Xicheng Police Station. They seized several Falun Gong books. She had a medical emergency when the police tried to take her to the police station. Her family called an ambulance that took her to the hospital.
6. [Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Gao Qunying Harassed
Ms. Gao Qunying, who worked at the convenience store in Qichao Middle School, was harassed at her school-provided dorm on the morning of September 23, 2024, by the Luqiao Police Station officers, the school director Zhang, and the store manager. They talked to her and videotaped the conversation. Officer Zhou said that they would come to check on her once a month in the future.
