Handing Out Truth-clarifying Materials Without Fear

(Minghui.org) Since the Chinese Communist Party began the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, millions of practitioners have been arrested for distributing Falun Gong information material, and many people dare not accept the materials. However, when a practitioner distributed materials without fear, things turned out differently. Here are some personal experiences shared by practitioner Jingshan.

The Village Cadre Who Followed Me

One day I was handing out Falun Gong information materials in a village on the outskirts of the city. A village cadre saw me and glared at me, “How dare you hand out these?” I was not afraid at all, and I gave a copy to him, “What’s wrong with the materials? Everyone should know the facts. This one is for you.” He refused to take it and ordered me to go with him.

More people came and surrounded us. Thinking that I might not be able to get away, I went with him. After we walked about 150 meters, he stopped to talk to a group of people at an intersection. Then I realized I didn’t even know where he intended to take me.

A thought flashed in my mind, “I should tell him to follow me!” I raised my hand and told him, “You come with me!” He immediately stopped talking, turned around, and came to me, as if a puppet being led by a string.

We went towards the outskirts of the village. He sneaked a glance at me from time to time, like a thief stealing a look at the police escorting him. After we reached the road outside of the village, I told him, “You can leave now.” He ran away as fast as he could!

I believed that my strong righteous thoughts was the reason he reacted with such obedience.

Man Who Tried to Capture Me Was Terrified

I was walking home after distributing truth-clarifying materials when I heard rapid footsteps behind me, getting closer and closer. Someone must have found out that I was giving out Falun Gong materials and now was trying to capture me.

I was not scared. When the person attempted to grab me, I turned around to face him. I saw him freeze right there with frightened eyes wide open and his right arm up in the air for a second. He then took three steps backward, turned around, and ran away! I wondered what he saw that made him so scared.

Sudden Transformation of a Malicious Man

Another time when I was handing out the truth-clarifying materials, a man took a copy with a suspicious expression. He asked me where I got these materials from. I could tell he didn’t have good intentions. I looked straight at him and answered, “You do not need to care about that. It is important that you read and understand the content.”

But he didn’t stop and kept asking me the same question. I suspected that he might be a plainclothes police officer. I was not scared but talked to him calmly, “Well, I made these materials by myself.” Then he asked, “How?” I told him, “With a printer. I print 70 to 80 copies every day.”

Strangely, his unkind expression changed. He smiled at me and departed with his left hand holding the materials, right hand waving, as he said to me, “The Communist Party is dying! Hurry up and quit it!”

Clarifying the Truth With Courage

Once I handed out a copy of truth-clarifying materials to a married couple. After a while, they came back and tried to stop me, “Hey, the stuff you are distributing is not allowed by the government.”

I replied, “I can tell you do not know much about Falun Gong. Here’s is a DVD that has more information you should know.”

They took the disk and started to follow me. Instead of being afraid, I felt more courageous. I handed out the materials to everyone passing by. I told people loudly, “What I am handing out is information about Falun Gong. Whoever reads this information and understands will be blessed.” Not a single person rejected the materials, instead, they smiled and thanked me.

The couple stood nearby watching me. The man called the police, but an officer did not arrive until I had finished handing out all of my materials.
