(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to introduce Falun Dafa to active and retired police officers and their families in Pengadegan, Jakarta, Indonesia, on Saturday, March 18, 2023. The activity was held in the morning and was well received by locals, who unanimously provided positive feedback.
Though the weather was hot, everyone was excited to learn Falun Dafa’s five exercises. The atmosphere was peaceful. A local resident who had previously suffered a stroke and a Parkinson’s patient tried their best to practice the exercises for the entire duration of the activity.
Everyone shared how they felt after the group practice. Hilda, a local resident, said, “My whole body often felt sore after practicing other forms of physical exercise in the past, but after practicing the Falun Dafa exercises my back pain has disappeared.”
Tuti, another local resident, shared that she had felt a little discomfort while practicing the exercises initially. But after finishing the exercises, she felt energetic and refreshed. She understood that this was the process of body purification, and she felt really great.
Tedjo said he enjoyed practicing the exercises. He said the exercises movements were simple yet effective. He hoped practitioners would conduct activities like this every week.
Practitioners also took the opportunity to let people know about Zhuan Falun, the main text of Falun Dafa. Some locals purchased the book immediately, while others purchased Falun Gong, an introductory book written by the founder of Falun Dafa, Li Hongzhi. Some people also purchased the Minghui-published book Hearts and Minds Uplifted: The Power of Falun Dafa, featuring 48 stories from practitioners who upgraded their character through cultivation.
Many people expressed their wish for practitioners to come and introduce Falun Dafa on a routine basis.
A host of different organizations in Indonesia have invited practitioners to introduce Falun Dafa in their districts and neighborhoods. Many local residents in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, have learned about Falun Dafa and the remarkable benefits that the practice can bring to physical and mental health.

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings—which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance—and learned the five exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.
