(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners gather each morning before sunrise on the campus of Taoyuan Municipal Nei-Li Senior High School in Taiwan to do the exercises together. Their melodious exercise music drifts around the otherwise quiet campus, starting at 4:50 a.m.

After completing the five sets of Falun Gong exercises on Saturday, February 11, 2023, the practitioners stayed on the campus to respectfully read Master Li Hongzhi’s teachings together. They then shared about how they cultivate in daily life, thus kicking off a beautiful day.

Experience sharing

Practitioner Huang Shu-hua shared about a meeting she had recently with a good friend of hers who does not practice Falun Gong. The friend brought along two cups of coffee, one for Shu-hua. Shu-hua felt a little ashamed because she normally only brings her own coffee. She felt that as a practitioner, she should follow what Master Li taught and always think of others first.

Shu-hua said that because she practices Falun Gong, she has become more alert to her words and deeds. She also reminds herself to strive to be a better person in everyday life.

Practitioner Ouyang Hui-wen shared that during the Chinese New Year period this year, she tripped on the stairs at home and sprained her foot. Her first thought was that she was fine, and through doing the Falun Gong exercises, she didn't have much discomfort. She kept in mind that practitioners look inward in every instance. She recalled that just before she fell down, she had a bad thought that was related to the attachment of self-interest. She said that as soon as she recognized this thought she eliminated it. Through practicing the exercises more, she recovered from her injury quickly.

She said that she was so grateful to be able to practice Falun Gong. If she has any physical discomfort, she can quickly find relief through improving her xinxing and doing the exercises. During the process, her words and deeds can also be rectified.

Fan Jun-hui is a new practitioner who has been practicing Falun Gong for about two months. In December last year, she searched for information about the exercises online and then taught herself how to do them at home. She later thought that if she wanted to continue practicing, she needed to find a practice site to keep up her motivation. She found the Nei-Li Senior High School practice site and has persisted in coming out to do the morning exercises every day, even during low temperatures and when a cold snap hit.

During her work week, Jun-hui goes to the top floor of her company during her lunch break to make up for the half-hour of exercise she couldn't do in the morning. She has noticed that her xinxing has improved through practicing Falun Gong. She used to be more likely to quarrel with others, and after practicing Falun Gong, she finds that she is less likely to get into an argument with others. She has learned to be more patient and is not in a hurry to blurt things out. She was grateful to the fellow practitioners who held a nine-day free teaching class and helped her adjust her exercise movements. She said she hopes that she will continue to improve.

Taiwan has a large number of Falun Gong practitioners and more than 660 Falun Gong exercise sites, each offering exercise instruction free of charge. The municipality of Taoyuan has 58 Falun Gong exercise sites.

Practitioners come together at Taoyuan Municipal Nei-Li Senior High School from 4:50 a.m. to 6:40 a.m. each day for the morning exercises. During the weekends, after completing the exercises, the practitioners also study the Fa together. Starting their days with the exercises and Fa study has benefited the practitioners physically and mentally. They are all energetic and have a positive outlook to welcome each new day.
