Germany: People Praise Falun Dafa’s Principles During Event in Mannheim

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities in Mannheim on February 11, 2023 to tell people about Falun Dafa and the ongoing persecution of the practice in China. Mannheim is a college town with many shops showcasing designer and fashion brands, so the city is particularly busy on weekends. When people walked by the practitioners’ booth and banners and read the posters, they learned about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) violation of religious freedom and its crimes against humanity. They signed a petition to urge the CCP to end the persecution and the atrocity of organ harvesting from practitioners who refuse to renounce their faith. Many people encouraged practitioners to keep up the good work, and said that the persecution will end.

People Sign Petition to End the Persecution

A woman from Tunisia told a practitioner, “Thank you for being here today. I saw hope from (the practitioners).” She encouraged them to hold such activities often and keep it up, and said that it would eventually end the persecution.

Conni said that she has been involved in many activities to stop human rights violations. “There is a restaurant called Laterne, in which there were Falun Dafa fliers. One day I read a flier while I ate there. I went home and I did an online search on Falun Dafa. Hopefully my signature can help you,” she said as she explained why she was there that day.

Two young people signed the petition and talked to practitioners. One of them said that he knew the CCP persecuted many Chinese people. “Some of them fled to Germany, like one of my tenants,” he said, “I wondered why the CCP persecutes and kills so many innocent people, and even harvests their organs. I couldn’t just watch it happen.”

Agreeing with the Values of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance

A man told the practitioners that the energy surrounding them was great, “There is no hatred here. You’re telling people about the persecution with kindness, which is good.”

Ms. Strobel agreed with the Falun Dafa principles, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. “I don’t like jealousy and evil things. Falun Dafa’s principles work for everyone. People should follow the principles.” After she understood that the CCP harvested organs from living practitioners who were incarcerated for refusing to renounce their faith, she was in shock. “Cutting off other people’s organs at will, and profiting from the organ sales is beyond cruel,” she said.

Ms. Strobel believes that people should follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

Amanton said that people, no matter where they live, should enjoy the freedom of choice. “If they couldn’t, they should fight for their rights,” he said. In the end he said, “I believe that people should treat every life on earth with kindness.”

Rrustemi told the practitioners after she signed the petition that she and her family talked about organ harvesting from living people the day before. They wondered why no one did anything about it. “My son saw a video of what happened to practitioners on social media and told me about it. Then I saw your booth here today,” she said. She urged her daughter to come over and sign the petition. “(The principles of Falun Dafa) are great. I think that compassion is especially important. Everyone should have a kind heart.”

Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises, have experienced improved health and well-being.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.

Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.

There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
