Dying Sister Recovers from Cancer by Listening to Falun Dafa Lectures

(Minghui.org) One day in March 1999, I had a sudden attack of angina pectoris (chest pain), and passed out twice in an hour. I was hospitalized for one week.

I sat in front of my house after being discharged from the hospital. My neighbor, a Falun Dafa practitioner, said that she was going to buy some Dafa books. I had heard of Falun Dafa before, so I went to the bookstore with her and bought two books. 

Four days after I started reading the books, I stopped taking the medicine because it didn’t taste right anymore. After a week, I quit smoking because the smell of the cigarette was awful. 

Before I finished reading the book Teachings at the Conference in Switzerland, I no longer felt pain in my chest. My stomach problem and neurasthenia were also gone. I was very happy. Falun Dafa gave me a second life. Words cannot express my profound gratitude to Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa.

Seeing the changes in me, my husband followed suit and started to read the books. I went to a group practice site on March 4, 1999, and a fellow practitioner gave me a copy of Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa.

I have witnessed many miraculous stories that happened to my family and relatives. Because of those stories, almost all my family members have started to practice Dafa. 

My Sister Regained Health After Reading Zhuan Falun

One day in 2002, my younger sister called me. She said that our elder sister was dying from cancer and the hospital did not want to accept her. I went to visit my older sister and my husband also came.

When we arrived at her home, my elder sister was lying in bed. She was incontinent. I called her name, but she didn’t respond.

I spent an entire day cleaning up her yard. At night, when I began to listen to Dafa lecture audios, I plugged one earphone in my sister’s ear. I was so tired and fell asleep. When I woke up in the morning, the lecture was still playing and I pulled out the earbud from my sister’s ear. 

“Who removed my earbud?” my sister asked.

I was shocked! My sister could speak after listening to Master’s lectures overnight!

I was very happy for her and immediately put back both earbuds. After a while, she said that she was hungry. After breakfast, we helped her children harvest peanuts in the field. When we returned in the afternoon, my sister had sat up and was listening to the Fa. While busy preparing for the dinner, I was startled to see my sister walking to the bathroom by herself. 

Even though my sister was illiterate, she could read Zhuan Falun except for the word “universe.” I taught her several times how to pronounce the word, but she kept forgetting it. Amazingly, she had a dream, in which Master taught her how to say the word. From then on, she could read the entire book by herself. 

My sister’s recovery caused a stir among the villagers. They all took turns reading Zhuan Falun. I left behind two copies of Zhuan Falun when I returned home.

Other Blessings from Dafa 

My husband’s elder brother suffered from dementia. After listening to Master’s lectures, he regained his health. He is now in his 90s and can still work in the fields!

I have taken care of my three grandchildren one after another. The children recited and studied the Fa with me. My granddaughter is studying abroad now, and my other two grandchildren are doing very well in China.

My three sons and two daughters-in-law have also practiced Dafa. Now at 82 years old, I am healthy and walk like a young woman. My husband is 87 and also healthy. We can do all house chores ourselves so we don’t need to trouble our children to help us with anything.
