Miracles Encountered in My Medical Practice

(Minghui.org) I am a 78-year-old retiree who works as the deputy chief of a Traditional Chinese Medicine department. Since my retirement in 1998, I have been directly treating patients. I started learning Falun Dafa in 1996. Falun Dafa’s Master purified my body, granted me greater wisdom, bestowed me with a good medical reputation, and watches over me as I walk the path of validating the Fa and awakening sentient beings through my clinical work.

Director of Western Medicine Witnesses Dafa’s Miracle

One day in 2010, the director of Western Medicine in my work unit called and inquired, “My 82-year-old elder sister (Pseudonym: Kang Jian) has lung cancer. Western medicine is unable to treat her. Can traditional Chinese medicine relieve her symptoms and manage pain?” I immediately agreed to visit her sister and went to her home.

After checking Kang Jian’s pulse, I admitted to her that Chinese medicine might not be effective for her condition. “Instead, let me tell you a better way. Sincerely recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and you might improve.” She immediately replied, “I believe you!” Kang Jian told me someone had once given her a Falun Dafa book, but because she was illiterate, she could only cherish the book every day! I told her, “Then recite this phrase as you revere the book.” Several of her sons and daughters were with her at that time, and I began to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to them, encouraging them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. Some of them did, while others had quit before.

After taking a few doses, Kang Jian wanted to stop her medication. However, her daughter insisted she continue. I gave Kang Jian a set of Master Li’s (Dafa’s founder) video lectures and told her, “Watch these videos every day.” She nodded in agreement. More than two months later, the director of Western Medicine called me. “My sister’s lung cancer is miraculously cured! Your medical skills are amazing!” Due to constant surveillance and the communist regime’s persecution of Falun Dafa, she could only say this much over the phone. I replied, “I have no such ability. The Master of Falun Dafa, Li Hongzhi, saved her.” I requested to see Kang Jian’s previous blood tests and CT scans, along with her current ones. Her previous lung CT report indicated the presence of “lung cancer” in the upper lobe, middle lobe, and hilum of her right lung. Her latest exam results were all normal, with her CT report indicating normal lungs. This miracle impressed Kang Jian’s children.

Later, when Kang Jian’s son came to see me for his illness, I asked him, “How is your mother?” He replied, “My mother is fine. She consumes a bowl of rice at every meal and has no symptoms at all. She confided in me about the amazing experiences she’s had. According to her, “I watch Master’s lecture video every day. I’ve seen Master walk out from the television screen wearing yellow robes to help adjust my body. My body feels very comfortable, and I like to watch the videos.”

Nine years later, Kang Jian’s younger sister, the director of Western medicine, came to consult me. I asked about her elder sister, and she replied, “My sister is over ninety years old but has no illnesses. She continues to follow your instructions, and Master continues to take care of her.” I told her, “Our Master’s power is boundless.” She replied, “An incurable disease was cured after learning Falun Dafa! This is an extraordinary outcome!”

A Precious Book

In April 2016, a male patient in his forties came to see me early in the morning. “I suffer from many ailments, cannot work, and cannot earn money for my family. We are in a difficult financial situation, but my wife still treats me kindly. I can’t bear to continue burdening her, so I want to commit suicide.” I replied, “Suicide is a sin. After death, you will wander in another dimension endlessly, without food or drink, suffering bitterly. Besides, your wife is so good, shouldn’t you be more considerate towards your wife and child? Isn’t this a selfish decision to make?”

My patient woke up and replied, “Your words are true. The doubts in my heart are now gone.” I told him, “I am a practitioner of Falun Dafa, and what I said were all Fa principles taught by Master Li, which I have enlightened to at my cultivation level. I also clarified the truth about Dafa to him, and he agreed to quit the Young Pioneers. I then checked his pulse and told him his symptoms were caused by his mental anxiety. “There is no need to take any medicine, just stabilize your mental state and you will be fine.” He asked, “Is there a Falun Dafa book? I wish to read it.” I agreed to lend it to him. The following morning, he visited me and borrowed a copy of Zhuan Falun.

Two months later, while I was waiting at the bus station, a man riding a bicycle stopped before me and said, “Doctor, I have recovered from my illnesses and found a good job. Thank you for giving me that precious book.” It was that previously suicidal patient. I replied, “You should thank our Master.” In fact, it was Master who led this predestined person to me and allowed me to help him. Actually, Master Li was the one who saved his life.

Vanishing Carotid Artery Plaque

In the past, I had a patient who came to me seeking treatment for leg and back pain. Her pulses were all weak. In particular, her heart pulse indicated poor qi and blood circulation. I administered acupuncture and moxibustion to treat her pain. While undergoing treatment, she asked about my age. On hearing I was 74 years old, she asked, “How do you maintain your health?” I replied, “I practice Falun Dafa. I used to have many health problems, including severe anemia and heart disease. After cultivating, my illnesses all disappeared, and I haven’t taken any medication since 1996.” I briefly described some Fa principles, and how illnesses come about, and so on. I also clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to her, and she agreed to withdraw from the CCP. She also accepted a Falun Dafa desktop calendar.

A year later, she visited me for a sprained back. When I checked her pulse, I found a massive improvement, particularly in her heart pulse. She said: “I put the calendar on the front desk of my restaurant. Whenever I encounter those who can’t afford a doctor, I tell them to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” In this way, she had been promoting Dafa.

The following day, she arrived slightly late for her appointment. “I went to the hospital for an examination. All my tests turned out normal. My myocardial ischemia has been healed. More miraculously, my carotid artery plaque has disappeared. I finally understand the Fa principles you described to me earlier. Every illness appears wherever there is a great concentration of a certain black substance. When I sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance is good,” the black substance will turn white. The illness will then have to leave won’t it?” I was shocked that an everyday person could understand Master’s Fa teachings so comprehensively. Master’s power is truly boundless.

Unemployed University Graduate Finds a Good Job

One day in 2005, I intended to visit a patient’s home and took a trishaw that happened to be on the side of the road. During the journey, the rider and I struck up a conversation. He was a university graduate and he had not been able to find a job and was ferrying passengers on his trishaw to make ends meet. I told him the truth about Falun Dafa and why the CCP was bent on persecuting the practice. When I persuaded him to quit the CCP, he said, “Let me quit using the pseudonym Wang Weiquan.” When I asked him to explain the significance behind his name, he replied, “It represents my determination to defend the king (referring to Master).” I was happy to see he had chosen the right path!

Later, he told me he had clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to his passengers, and even gave me a list of people who wanted to quit the CCP and its youth organizations. Three months later, he waited outside my home in order to tell me, “I have been blessed. I obtained a good job as an electrician. The pay is good, and the work is not hard. I am grateful to Master.” Before leaving, he recited, “Falun Dafa is good.”

In 2017, I was reported to the authorities for practicing Falun Dafa and illegally held at a detention center for a month before being released on bail. After receiving this news, my boss immediately asked me to return to work. I told my boss, “This detention and persecution is completely illegal and unconstitutional, without any legal basis. Don’t worry, this situation is under my Master’s control. This is a persecution targeting Dafa disciples, and I will make sure not to implicate anyone else.”

Because I had previously clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to my boss and colleagues, the prosecutor’s office and police department were unable to find any evidence against me. My boss and fellow colleagues resisted their efforts with righteous thoughts, and no “evidence” to support my prosecution could be found.

I remained firm and did not admit to anything. In the end, the prosecutors dismissed my case, and I was released by the police department. My boss and colleagues had elected to stand on the side of Falun Dafa. I was elated, as my boss and colleagues were all saved!
