1. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Yanrong Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

1. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Yanrong Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Ms. Zhao Yanrong was sentenced to three years in prison and taken to Shenyang Women’s Prison. Prison officials refused to admit her for health reasons. She is being held in the Panjin City Detention Center.
2. [Chongqing] Ms. Dai Arrested
Ms. Dai’s son said that his mother was arrested over two months ago. Ms. Dai lives in the Muyushi Residential Community in the Yubei District. Further details are pending.
3. [Tianjin] Ms. Liu Zhimei Summoned Multiple Times
Ms. Liu Zhimei from the Hexi District was reported to the police when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on Yinhe Square on July 22, 2022. She was arrested. The officers searched her and ransacked her home. The police subsequently summoned her several times.
On August 25, Ms. Liu was summoned by the procuratorate and questioned.
On December 5, the police summoned her again and took her to the courthouse to register her case. They forwarded the indictment to her. The court has accepted the case, and she will be notified of the trial date.
4. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Hou Chengmin and Liu Jingxiang Arrested
Hou Chengmin and Liu Jingxiang (genders unknown) from Qiujia Village, Yidao Town, were arrested on December 5, 2022, by officers from the Yidao Town Police Station. The officers searched them, searched their bags, and confiscated printed materials. Hou’s 100 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong facts printed on them were confiscated. One man and two young women went to their homes, ransacked them, and confiscated their Falun Gong books, calendars, and weekly publications.
5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Niu Xiaona Faces Trial
The Harbin City Intermediate Procuratorate will question Ms. Niu Xiaona via a video link at 9 a.m. on December 16, 2022. At 9 a.m. on December 21, Ms. Niu will be tried via video link by the Railway Transportation Intermediate Court.
