(Minghui.org) I explained the truth behind the persecution of Falun Dafa to a couple living in my neighborhood. The wife is kind and showed support. The husband is a truck driver who also supports Dafa, knowing it is nothing like the CCP propaganda claims it is. Sometimes, he even shouts out loud: “Falun Dafa is great!” I gave them a calendar which had information about Falun Dafa every year and they gladly accepted it. If I forgot to give them one, they asked me for it. We lost contact with each other after the neighborhood we lived in was demolished.
We ran into each other while attending a funeral on January 9, 2023. The husband quietly told me, “How extraordinary! My wife and I are the only ones in our area who did not get COVID.” I said, “You are blessed because you know that Falun Dafa is good and the truth about the persecution.”
Relatives Believe in Dafa and Are Blessed
Another wave of pandemic hit China in December 2022 causing many deaths. Yet some people remained virus-free. Many of my relatives know that Falun Dafa is good. When we recently chatted, I learned that some of them caught the virus but none of them died from it. They told me they often recite “Falun Dafa is great, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is great.” Consequently their symptoms were light and they recovered in 2 or 3 days.
My Husband Changed His Attitude Towards Dafa
My husband is an official and as a result had misconceptions about Dafa because he listened to the Communist regime’s anti-Falun Dafa propaganda. His attitude completely changed after some personal experiences.
One day last year, he felt terrible and his blood pressure went up. He was ill for a long time. I left a booklet about Falun Dafa on the table. When I came home that afternoon, I noticed it was still there. I asked, “Have you read it?” He picked it up and began reading. The next day, his blood pressure returned to normal and since then, the problem has not recurred.
After the pandemic broke out, he developed a high fever one morning. His temperature was over 38 degrees. I said, “Why don’t you recite Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good. I guarantee you will be fine.” He did not say anything and I wasn’t sure if he recited the phrase. I tried again saying, “Why don’t I read some passages of the teachings.” I opened the book Zhuan Falun and began to read. When I read the fourth page, he said, “I want to eat something.” He got up and went to the kitchen. After he ate, he said he no longer felt cold. His temperature had gone down and was completely normal. He said, “How extraordinary!” I said, “Every time you have physical discomfort, when you change your attitude towards Dafa, Master takes care of you. How wonderful!”
I have a laptop that I use to access the Minghui website. Now, whenever I turn it on, my husband reads the information on the website for over an hour. His attitude towards Dafa changed.
Man Suffering from Kidney Stones Slept Soundly After Reciting “Falun Dafa Is Good”
My husband became ill and was admitted to a hospital. A man lay in the bed across from him. His wife kept him company. The man kept getting out of bed and kneeling on the ground, then he got back in bed. He kept groaning in pain. I asked his wife what illness he was suffering from. She said his kidney stones were causing him a lot of pain. He was in agony all morning and they were waiting for the doctor to come and see him. I pulled the wife out of the room and briefly told her about Falun Dafa. I asked her to get her husband to recite “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good.”
The couple did not appear to be city dwellers and were simple folks. After we talked, the wife went to her husband and whispered in his ear. Just then, my husband’s first drip bottle was nearly finished and I went out to find the nurse to get him another bottle. When I returned, I noticed the man was laying quietly in bed. He stopped groaning and soon fell asleep. His wife said he had not slept so well in a long time and she kept thanking me. I told my husband about the incident, and he also thought it was a miracle.
The stories mentioned in this article show how extraordinary Falun Dafa is. Dafa can bring people blessings yet the ultimate purpose is to enable one to return to one’s origin.
