People Eager to Receive Calendars with Falun Dafa Information

(Minghui.org) I have cultivated in Falun Dafa for 23 years. As my cultivation realm has elevated, my righteous thoughts have become increasingly stronger as I’ve talked to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution. People are waking up. We have seen the light at the end of the tunnel. I’d like to share with you some of the moving stories I’ve experienced in recent years while I distributed truth-clarification calendars. 

The truth-clarification calendars published by the Minghui website are beautifully designed, with rich content. Every calendar sends out pure, positive energy. It provides a good opportunity for us to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. I distribute them as soon as I get them. I ride a bicycle to distribute 60 copies at a minimum, and as many as 120. 

On one occasion I brought 60 copies with me. I gave them out while I clarified the truth to people. I saw a man standing in front of a small shop. When I gave him a calendar, he looked through it and I could see that he loved it. I took the opportunity to tell him the facts about Falun Dafa and asked him to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated youth organizations. He agreed to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. 

As I was about to leave, he stopped me and said, “Wait, it is getting late. I will help you distribute the calendars so that you can finish sooner and go home for dinner.” I was a bit moved and told him, “You are a good person. You will be blessed for doing things for Dafa.” He turned around and opened the shop door and shouted, “Come out quickly to pick up the Falun Dafa calendars.” Nearly 20 people swarmed out of the shop. Both of us gave out the calendars to everyone; they were very happy. 

Finally, an elderly lady came out. I greeted her warmly, “The last calendar is left for you.” She took it from my bicycle basket and looked at me with disdain, “What kind of calendar is it?” I said frankly, “A Falun Dafa calendar.” Her face changed suddenly. She threw the calendar back in my bicycle basket and said, “I don’t want it. I believe in Buddhism.” I said, “You believe in Buddhism, but you are not very nice. People who believe in Buddhism should be kind. How come you threw things?” She said, “Yeah, I believe in the CCP.” I replied, “The CCP is atheist. How can you believe in Buddhism?” She was speechless, dropped her head and went back to the shop. I felt victorious. 

Master (the founder of Falun Dafa) said:

“Whether they’re receptive or not, you should always treat them with compassion, and you can’t get competitive with ordinary people or look at sentient beings with human thoughts.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2003 Washington, D.C. Fa Conference,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World Volume IV)

Studying Master’s Fa, I was awakened and regretted that I was full of competitiveness, hatred, was showing off, looking down on other people and angry when people refused me. I was ashamed of myself when the woman was choked by my comments. I’d cultivated myself poorly. I didn’t behave like a Dafa disciple. I made up my mind that I must treat sentient beings with compassion. 

A Police Officer Looks at a Calendar

One day I saw seven or eight people standing behind a market building. One of them was a policeman who was talking on the phone. I gave two calendars to the person beside the policeman and said to him in a low voice, “When he finishes his phone call, please give one to him.” The person nodded and accepted the calendars. I told them, “This is a Dafa calendar. There is a true story on the back page of each month. You will be blessed if you read the stories and understand them. I wish you and your family good luck in the New Year.”

I heard someone shouting behind me when I had walked some distance away, “Stop. Don’t walk away.” I looked back and saw that the policeman had hung up his phone. He waved the calendar and said, “You dare to distribute this openly? You are bold. Do you know what I am doing?”

Master’s words flashed through my mind, “everyone in the world was part of my family.” (Teachings Given on Lantern Festival Day, 2003). I was purified by the Fa. I only had one thought, “Regardless of what you do, you are part of Master’s family, so you are part of my family.”

I lowered my mask and treated him as an old friend. I smiled at him and said, “I know.” He asked me what he did. I didn’t reply to his question but said word by word, “You are a good person.” He beamed and waved me off, “You can go now.” He then carefully looked at the calendar. 

I realized that if Dafa practitioners treat sentient beings with compassion, the bad substances behind people will be dissolved. If we use our human notions, the result might be different. 

Over 60 People Accept the Calendars

As I have improved my xinxing and realm, my fears subside. I’ve distributed the calendars from the city to the villages and from several people to groups of people. One day I rode my bicycle with 120 calendars. I clarified the truth to whoever I met, and gave each of them a calendar. Most of the people accepted the calendar and agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. 

I came to a village and saw a dozen cars parked in front of a house. Many people were in the street and on the uneven ground in front of the house. People in the yard were busy working. Still, people came to the house. I went over to them, raised my hand with a calendar and said, “I am delivering Falun Dafa calendars to you. I hope that everyone has a safe and happy New Year and good luck to your family.”

Most of them came to me at the same time and surrounded me. Dozens of hands extended out to me. I gave the calendars to them one by one. Some just couldn’t wait and picked up the calendars from my bicycle basket themselves. In the blink of an eye, all the calendars were gone. I took more from the box in the back of my bicycle so everyone could get one. 

I then said to the group, “Falun Dafa is a great way of the Buddha School. It has amazing health benefits. Our Dafa disciples comply with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and are good people. The CCP’s propaganda about Falun Dafa practitioners committing suicide and the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square are all hoaxes. You will be safe during the pandemic if you withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations and sincerely repeat, ‘Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’”

A man in his sixties ran up to me and said in a low voice, “Please don’t talk about this. Most of people here are government officials. Please leave immediately.” I asked him what they were doing. He said that they were having a birthday party for his grandson. I told him that his grandson was blessed. He asked me why. I said, “So many people get Falun Dafa calendars on his birthday. Won’t he be greatly blessed?” He beamed with a big smile. His tense facial expression eased. I clarified the truth to him and he agreed to withdraw from the CCP without hesitation. He said to me, “You practitioners are still persecuted. They are still arresting your people. You must be careful. Please leave immediately.”

I looked back as I was leaving. I was moved by the scene. Over sixty people stood in different places and were all looking at the calendars. Everyone became so quiet. Each calendar was beaming under the sun and emitting pure energy. 

He Raises a Calendar High 

As the Fa-rectification progresses, the evil elements have become less and less. People are waking up and stepping forward. 

One day I carried 120 calendars on my bicycle in the freezing winter with the wind blowing hard. The wind was hurting my face. Not many people were on the street. I gave out a calendar to every passerby. My hands and feet hurt a lot due to the cold, so I got off the bicycle and walked. It was midday and I still had over 60 calendars to give out. I said to Master in my heart, “Master, I am cold and hungry. Not many people are on the street.”

I rode my bicycle forward. I saw that the door of a house was open and many people were inside. I went into the yard and saw some people washing plates and chopsticks, some clearing the yard. Two piles of pork were on a plastic sheet. Most of the people were chatting with each other. Some walked back and forth in the yard. They were preparing for Chinese New Year and had finished lunch. 

Nobody saw me in the yard. I shouted at them loudly, “I have beautiful Falun Dafa calendars. They will bring good luck to your family. Who would like to have one?” Two people said, “No, we don’t want it.” I wondered why they didn’t want such beautiful calendars; it would be great even if one of them wanted one.

One man in his thirties near the door said he wanted one and picked one up. He then went back to the platform and raised the calendar high in one hand. He opened one page and pointed to the beautiful picture and said, “Look! Such a beautiful picture. How come you don’t want it?” He turned over another page and said, “Look how nice the calendar is. Why don’t you want it?” His loud voice echoed in the air. 

The noisy group became quiet. The wind stopped. The pictures on the calendars were colorful. All eyes were on the calendar in his hand. He urged people to take one. All of them came to pick up one except for the two persons who previously declined. He ran from the platform and picked up a calendar from my bicycle basket and went to these two people. He handed the calendar to one of them and said, “Take it and have a look.” He repeated the same to the other person. They accepted the calendars without hesitation. 

He gladly came over to me and I told him, “You are remarkable. You will be blessed.” He picked up six or seven calendars and said that he would give them to other people in the house. He went inside the house and gave each person a calendar. Then he looked at the calendar carefully himself. 

Everyone in the yard and the room was carrying a calendar like they were carrying a precious treasure. All of them were looking at the calendars attentively and carefully. They were happy and joyful as if they forgot about their surroundings. The yard became serene and harmonious. 

At that moment, a man in his fifties left on his motorcycle with a calendar in hand. I also headed out on my bike. I rode a while and stopped. I took the calendars from the box on the back of my bicycle and put them in the front basket. A motorcycle suddenly stopped beside me. It was that same man. He asked for another calendar. I asked him what he’d done with the one I’d given him before. He said that he gave it to a shop owner. I gave him one and he left and disappeared shortly thereafter. 

I saw a group of people not far who were extending their hands and shouting at me, “We want calendars.” I went to them and gave one to each person. They went into the shop while looking at the calendars. Some people came out of the shop in a rush. Seeing this, I realized that this group of people came out due to the man on the motorcycle who didn’t speak much and didn’t tell me anything about this group. 

I stood there for a while while and realized I only had a dozen calendars left in my basket. I knew Master had arranged this. 

I felt very light as I made my way back home. I didn’t feel cold or hungry anymore. I gave out a dozen calendars and also persuaded a few people to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. 

A Man Took Two Dozen Calendars to Distribute

One day I rode my bicycle and passed a wholesale market. I saw a man standing by the road with his van parked nearby and gave him a calendar. He didn’t take it. Instead he took more than 20 calendars from my bicycle basket and said, “I will help distribute them for you.” He opened the van door and put the calendars into the van. Then he went back to his original place and looked as though nothing had happened. 

I asked him who he would give the calendars to. He said, “I live on Shizi Street. I will give them to people there.” I told him that I made the calendars using my own money and they were for saving people. I told him not to waste any of them. He said that he had already withdrawn his membership from the CCP. 

And then all of a sudden he raised his arm and shouted, “Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is good!” This was the way he expressed his gratitude to Falun Dafa and also showed his determination and courage to distribute the calendars. I gave him a thumbs up and said, “You are remarkable. You will have a bright future.” He smiled heartily. 

“Please Give Us Calendars Next Year”

A woman held a calendar tightly to her chest and twirled around. She was so happy. “My God! I got one last year. I have another one this year. I am truly blessed,” she exclaimed.

A man asked me, “You keep giving out materials and putting posters up and clarifying the truth to people. Is there any chance that Dafa’s reputation will be restored?” I said, “Definitely. You will live to see the day.” He beamed and said, “I want to see how the CCP will fall.” 

A man who looked like a CCP official gave me a thumbs up and said, “You people are remarkable. So many years. You people are incredible.”

Another man on a motorcycle said, “I had good luck last year. I put the calendar up at home. I didn’t have any illness the whole year, not even a cold. Please give me two calendars. I will give one to my son.” He went home and then came back and caught up with me. He said, “They still arrest people. You must be careful. Stay vigilant. There are bad people out there.”

Six or seven people were sitting on a bench in the park. One of them said to me, “Please bring us calendars next year.” The other people said to me in unison, “Please give us calendars next year.” I saw their smiles and laughed with joy. 

More and more people know the truth and are daring to step forward. Our great Master is leading Dafa disciples in this great Fa-rectification period. We are the hope for people to be saved.
