Auckland, New Zealand: Rally Celebrates 400 Million People Who Quit the Chinese Communist Party Organizations

Human Rights Lawyer: This Is Most Welcome News

Lawyer Kerry Gore addressed the rally.

Human rights lawyer Kerry Gore congratulated the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP Organizations for its hard work in enabling 400 million withdrawals. He said, “This is most welcome news. As even the most recent Amnesty International Annual Report on China for 2021 records: The human rights situation in China has continued to deteriorate.

“Falun Gong practitioners and House Church Christians have also been subjected to various forms of persecution comprising unlawful arrest, arbitrary detention, physical torture, psychological torture, brainwashing, slave labor, all in an effort to force believers to abandon their faith. Falun Gong practitioners and some house Church Christians have also been subjected to forced live organ harvesting of their vital organs. This is a form of state-sanctioned murder.”

He said, “In a country like China where basic human rights and freedoms are routinely violated, where civil liberties are denied, where the rule of law simply does not exist, where there is no independence of the judiciary, where persecution is commonplace and human rights violators act with impunity, there can, of course, be no loyalty to the CCP, the regime responsible for these evils. 

“Those Chinese people who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations have chosen very wisely. They see that China has a future only without the CCP.”

Chen Weijian, editor-in-chief of Beijing Spring, said at the rally, “The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party published by The Epoch Times is remarkable. It explains the nature of the CCP from its launch to the present and helps the Chinese people recognize the unprecedented evil nature of the Party.

“The significance of the Nine Commentaries is extraordinary. Four hundred million people have quit the CCP organizations, which shows that more and more people now see clearly the evil nature of the CCP and stay away from it. This is the result of Falun Gong practitioners clarifying the truth for so many years.”

He also said, “Once a person joins the Party, he will carry its evil spirit. Although people who join the Party may not have done anything bad, carrying the identity of a Party member means that they are a part of this evil organization. From the overall perspective, they are doing bad things.

“Now the CCP is not only evil but also more and more vicious. It even no longer hides its secrets, so that more people can see its essence clearly. Some people cannot quit the CCP in China, but when they go overseas, if there is a chance, they will quit the Party.

“Of course, there are some people who join the party just for their own interests, and the reason that they do not quit the Party is to keep their interests. But as a human being, one should not be greedy for interests that do not belong to him, otherwise he will suffer a lot pain and disaster.”

Jan Strijker is a hotel supplier and has traveled to Beijing for business and lived in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore. He and his wife Maria stopped to watch practitioners do the exercises.

Regarding practitioners’ persistence in protesting the persecution for more than 20 years, he said, “They (Falun Gong practitioners) are doing really well. Please continue to stand up. We need more people who have the courage to stand up against the CCP. The Party is dangerous. The reason why it persecutes Falun Gong is because they feel threatened and fear they can no longer control people. In China, there is no democracy at all.”

Maria said, “The CCP is, in one word, evil. I support (Falun Gong) very much. It is a practice that can make people calm and relax, and people benefit from it in both body and mind. In fact, I think everyone should practice it. Maybe we should start practicing it.”

Cardiologist Condemns Organ Harvesting Atrocities

Arthur Coverdale is a renowned New Zealand cardiologist who dedicated his life to saving human lives. He said that the persecution of Falun Gong was incredible. He condemned the persecution and the crime of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners.

“The CCP’s brutality is outrageous,” he said. “The CCP takes them (Falun Gong practitioners) into concentration camps and makes them lose their identity. Then they become victims of the CCP’s human organ trafficking industry. This is so brutal that is beyond the imagination of human beings. I am shocked.”

Regarding the 400 million Chinese people who have quit the CCP organizations, he said, “The fall of the CCP's autocratic government is a good thing for the Chinese people. It is a particularly good thing for Falun Gong practitioners and the whole world.”

Public Support for Falun Gong

James Wang said he agreed with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, “I think that’s how human beings should be. Cultivation will change a person’s character, and the inner pursuit of things will also change, and it can also free a person from illness.”

Ten years ago, in China, he received the Freegate software (a program to overcome the CCP’s information censorship) that was distributed by Falun Gong practitioners. He said, “I am very grateful to Freegate. I know that this is software created by Falun Gong practitioners who have been providing technical support. It is free and stable. Many people know the true news and quit the CCP organizations because of this. This is very meaningful to the Chinese people.”

He added, “The CCP promotes hatred and class struggle and encourages people to fight each other. Falun Gong is the mainstay of protesting the CCP and has always insisted on promoting traditional Chinese culture. I hope they can continue and hold regular rallies to let more people around the world know about the nature of the CCP.”

Tracy Woolston who is partially Chinese said, “The CCP is horrible. Freedom of belief is a basic human right. I don't like the CCP. Falun Dafa practitioners have been fighting for their beliefs for more than 20 years, but the CCP's persecution continues to this day, which is sad. I often see practitioners protesting in front of the Chinese Consulate. I honk my car horn every time I pass to show my support.”

Background: What Is Falun Dafa and Why Is the CCP Persecuting It?

Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China, in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and have learned the five exercises have experienced improved health and well-being.

Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline’s growing popularity as a threat to the CCP’s atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, he issued an order to eradicate the practice.

Under Jiang’s personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 23 years. The actual number is believed to be much higher. Countless practitioners have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.

There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply China’s organ transplant industry.
