(Minghui.org) Six Falun Gong practitioners in Maoming City, Guangdong Province, were surprised to see uninvited visitors – police officers and officials from neighborhood committees – who descended on their homes prior to the Mid-Autumn Festival of September 10, 2022, a traditional Chinese holiday.

Facing harassment, the practitioners kindly talked to them and clarified the facts about Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999. Their family members also strongly resisted the harassment and voiced their support for practitioners.

Ms. Liu told them that Falun Gong was a Buddha School cultivation practice that teaches people to be kind and is legal to practice in China.

The people who harassed Ms. Chen took photos of the exterior of her home.

Officers from Yongzhen Police Station went to Ms. Zhou Daqiong’s home on September 8. When her husband was talking to them, one officer took his photo without his consent. Another officer asked whether Ms. Zhou, 61, still believes in Falun Gong. Her husband rebuked them for harassing the family nonstop for the past 20 years. They quickly left.

Ms. Wu Youqing, 55, received a harassment phone call on September 4. The police asked about her practicing Falun Gong and smeared Falun Gong. A neighbor told her on September 8 that while she was out, two people, one from the police station and one from the neighborhood committee, knocked on her door for a long time.
