(Minghui.org) A Huludao City, Liaoning Province resident was sentenced to four years on May 30, 2022, for practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Ms. Zhang Xiaona, 48, was arrested on December 3, 2021. Her home was also ransacked. The police later released her and put her on house arrest.
Prosecutor Zhang Xiaojin of Lianshan District Court indicted her on April 25, 2022.
Ms. Zhang was tried by the Lianshan District Court on May 30 and sentenced to four years by judges Zhang Liang, Wang Yanju and Wang Yanhua.
She was taken back into custody at Huludao City Detention Center on July 10, 2022.
