(Minghui.org) My cousin’s wife had some misconceptions about Falun Dafa due to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) slanderous propaganda. I tried to clarify the facts to her, but she refused to listen.
One winter, she was diagnosed with throat cancer. Her condition was serious and she had to go to a big city for treatment.
As she and my cousin were farmers, my cousin had to stay behind for farm work and their elder son accompanied her to the hospital. The oncologist said that given her weak physical condition, it was too risky for him to operate on her. He recommended chemotherapy first to shrink the tumor.
When I heard about her situation, I went to see my cousin and helped out on his farm. I also called his wife and told her about the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I told her that many people recovered from terminal diseases by reciting the phrases and asked her to give it a try. She agreed and promised to recite the phrases as much as she could.
Several days later, I visited my cousin again and he was much relieved. “My wife is able to eat soft food now! Her condition is improving. The chemotherapy is working well on her and she will be discharged soon.”
Two weeks later, his wife returned home. I went to see her and gave her several DVDs and booklets with information about Falun Dafa. She was very receptive this time.
Two months later, her hair grew back and one can't tell that she had just recovered from cancer. She told me that one of her own relatives also practices Falun Dafa. That person told her more facts about Dafa and that people all over the world are practicing it. She realized that she had been deceived by the CCP before.
When I saw my cousin recently, he told me that those who were admitted to the hospital for throat cancer at the same time as his wife had all passed away, but his wife is now cancer-free. He shouted out loud “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
