(Minghui.org) May 13 was World Falun Dafa Day and this year was the 30th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public. Eight U.S. Congressional Members issued certificates or proclamations to celebrate the occasion.

The proclamation reads, “We celebrate Falun Dafa’s 30 year history of up-lifting mind-body practice centered upon the Universal Principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance; And

“Falun Dafa practitioners have touched the lives of residents in New York during the difficult times we have faced this past year. They offer free Falun Gong exercise instruction and health benefits through free on-line workshops, cultural programs on TV cable shows, outdoor exercises sites and various personal experience; And

“Under the beliefs and teaching of Falun Dafa, encourages individuals to embrace what is virtuous and improves their overall wellbeing. Over 100 million people from all walks of life in over 90 countries have benefited from the teachings and practice of Falun Dafa a.k.a. Falun Gong, since its introduction on May 13, 1992 in China.”

Background: What Is Falun Dafa?

The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide.
