Mind Our Speech to Protect Other's Safety At All Times

(Minghui.org) After all these years of cultivation, I noticed that some fellow practitioners in China still fail to pay close attention to their speech and sometimes unintentionally reveal information about other practitioners, especially those who print informational materials for us to distribute.

One practitioner I know had strong curiosity. She often asked others, “Who made the materials? Where did you get it?” When some practitioners were arrested, she would ask what they did that might have caused the arrests.

The Fa-rectification has coming to the final stage. The requirement of our cultivation is so high that there is little room left for mistakes. The old forces are also watching use closely. If we don’t pay attention to cultivation of speech and protect fellow practitioners’ identities, we may pose significant danger to them.

Here is a story of mine. I know a practitioner who was printing materials at home. She is very smart and good at printing and doing layouts. Both of us kept it as a secret and no one knew she was making materials.

Later, this practitioner moved to another city and I took over some of the work she did before. After I finished some layout, a coordinator praised me for doing a good job. I told her that the practitioner who had moved taught me. I went on to say how well she did in printing the materials. I thought since she wasn’t coming back to the city and no one knew about her, it should be fine for me to talk about it.

A few years later, the practitioner actually moved back. When she saw me, she asked me, “Why didn’t you cultivate your speech?”

I was taken by surprise. “Why did you say it? Why did you tell others that I am smart and I’m good at printing materials?”

I remembered and realized my mistake.

This is a good example of our unintentionally revealing information about other practitioners. We should be paying special attention to avoid bringing danger to fellow practitioners. We should be mindful not to casually ask for practitioners’ personal information, such as their names or addresses, if not necessary.

Above is some of my limited understanding. I welcome fellow practitioners point out to me anything not in line with the Fa.
