Parent and Son Escape Death a Decade Apart

(Minghui.org) I began to practice Falun Dafa in 2009 and have since benefited tremendously. In particular, I escaped death one April day in 2012 when my coworker got hit by a car and died instantly. We were both on our bikes delivering newspapers that day. The car turned around after knocking down my coworker and almost hit me as well. I knew that Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa, had saved me.

Because of my personal experience with Dafa, I’ve always reminded my family members to recite the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” especially in times of danger. My son, who is 29, had a similar experience just after the 2022 New Year.

He went to work for a new company at the beginning of 2022. One day he drove a pickup truck to work. At a traffic light, he started to inch forward after the light turned green. Suddenly, with a deafening crash, a huge object sped past his eyes. It was a huge trailer truck about 10 meters long. It stopped 100 meters away—the driver had run the red light!

The driver was also a young man. He was frightened and panicked. He staggered over. Seeing that my son was alive, he was so relieved that he burst into tears! Not only was my son alive, he didn’t even have a scratch on him!

But the pickup truck was ruined. The front bumper was gone completely, but the windshield was intact. If the windshield had broken, my son’s face would have been severely injured. The other driver exclaimed, “It is really incredible! Someone is watching over you for sure!”

Because my son appreciated the goodness of Dafa and usually carried a Dafa amulet on him, he escaped death just like I did a decade ago. Our family is deeply grateful for Master’s saving grace.

After the accident, my son believes in the power of Falun Dafa even more. He told me that he wanted to write the auspicious phrases in large characters and put them up on his wall at home!
