Additional Persecution News from China – February 28, 2022 (7 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Lizhuang and Mr. Huo Xiaohui Imprisoned
2. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

4. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Qi Xiumei Arrested
5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Shujuan and Ms. Sun Jing Arrested
6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jinghui Arrested and Detained
7. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiong Meilan Harassed

1. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Lizhuang and Mr. Huo Xiaohui Imprisoned

Mr. Li Lizhuang and Mr. Huo Xiaohui were taken to the Hulan Prison on February 17, 2022.

2. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Gao Xiangrui (gender unknown) and Zhou Jie (gender unknown) were arrested and detained in a detention center in December 2021.

Mr. Zhao Juncheng from the Wensheng District was arrested at home on December 8, 2021.

3. [Shanghai] Lu Tong Arrested

It was learned that Lu Tong (gender unknown) from Tang Town in the Pudong New District was arrested at home on February 17, 2022. Lu’s current whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Qi Xiumei Arrested

Ms. Qi Xiumei was arrested at home by police officers from Jishu Town at around 3 p.m. on February 23, 2022. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated.

5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Shujuan and Ms. Sun Jing Arrested

It was learned that Ms. Liu Shujuan and Ms. Sun Jing from Shuncheng District were arrested at around 2 p.m. on February 25, 2022.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jinghui Arrested and Detained

Ms. Wang Jinghui was arrested by officers from the Beiling Police Station for distributing truth clarification materials on the afternoon of February 7, 2022. She was denied admission by the No. 1 Detention Center, and was released due to the epidemic. However, she was recently taken to the Shenbei New District Detention Center.

7. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiong Meilan Harassed

More than 20 officers in three police vans from the Jiayu County Police Department went to Ms. Xiong Meilan’s home at around 9 a.m. on February 23, 2022. Ms. Xiong was suspected of posting stickers on the exterior walls of the police department. The police interrogated her and ransacked her home. They confiscated a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, a truth-clarifying flyer, and a truth-clarifying booklet. Three people went to her home to harass her again at around 9 p.m. that evening.
