1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] The Case Against Pan Yuelan Submitted to the Court

Pan Yuelan (gender unknown), 87, was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong and was arrested by officers from the Yinzhu Police Station on October 17, 2021. Pan’s home was ransacked. Some Falun Gong books and truth clarifying materials were confiscated. Pan was released later that evening, but was taken to the police station for interrogation three days later.

Pan received a call from the court on March 18, 2022 and was informed that the case was submitted to the court by the procuratorate.

2. [Daxing’anling Area, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Jinrong Arrested and Detained

Ms. Wang Jinrong was arrested a month ago. She is currently detained in the Jiagdaqi Detention Center.

3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Nan Zhenxin Arrested

Ms. Nan Zhenxin was arrested at her rented place in Qingzhou City on March 10, 2022. She was detained for one day.

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Shuyun Harassed

Ms. Sun Shuyun lives in Xujiamiaozi Village, Wutu Sub-district. The police went to her home on the afternoon of March 18, 2022 because she was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong in a neighboring village. The police confiscated an outdated booklet with information about Falun Gong and an amulet from her home.

5. [Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wei Bin Faces Trial

Mr. Wei Bin will be tried in court on March 24, 2022.

6. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Xiufen Arrested and Detained

Ms. Chen Xiufen, 68, is a retired teacher from the Dengfeng Elementary School in the Yuexiu District. She was arrested by officers from the Nanshitou Police Station in Haizhu District on January 26, 2022. She is currently detained in the Haizhu District Detention Center.
