Elderly Falun Dafa Disciples in China Work Hard to Clarify the Truth, and Thank Master Li for Giving Them Health and Longevity

(Minghui.org) It has been nearly 30 years since Falun Dafa was first introduced to the public, and numerous learners have benefited tremendously from the mind-body practice by following its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. As such, they have never wavered in their faith after the Chinese Communist Party launched a nationwide campaign against the practice in 1999. 

Having weathered the past 23 years of persecution, Falun Dafa practitioners ushered in another Chinese New Year. This report includes greetings received from elderly practitioners, many in their 80s or 90s, wishing Master Li a happy Chinese New Year.

A 102-year-old practitioner in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, expressed her gratitude to Master Li for giving her good health and longevity. She listens to Master’s audio lectures and recites “Falun Dafa is good” every day. She also lives by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Her family spans four generations and lives harmoniously. She said she is extremely honored and proud to have become Master’s disciple. She cherishes the life prolonged by Master and vows to do better in saving sentient beings so as to return to her heavenly abode with Master.

An 80-year-old practitioner in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, said he has never attended school, but he is now able to read all Dafa books. He takes the bus to various fairs to clarify the truth three to five times a week. He also makes sure he does the three things well every day. He also thanked Master for giving him wisdom and health. 

A Fa-study group in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, consists solely of elderly practitioners, the youngest in her 70s and the oldest 83. Despite their age, they have never stopped in clarifying the truth. 

A married couple in Qishan Town, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, thanks Master for giving them good health and a harmonious family. The husband is almost 80, but he is still as strong as a young man. Their children all support their practice of Falun Dafa. He said both he and his wife have been harassed by local authorities in the past year for upholding their faith. Despite the pressure, they have remained steadfast in practicing Dafa and doing the three things. They asked Master to not worry as nothing will stop them in their cultivation journey.
