(Minghui.org) Mr. Li and his wife were cleaning the yard one afternoon when two police officers and a man in a suit suddenly showed up. The couple was shocked at first but then invited the three men inside. One officer told the couple that they were there to check if they were still practicing Falun Gong.
Once the unexpected visitors were inside, they were surprised to see how tidy and spotless the couple’s home was. They kept saying, “So clean everywhere!” After Mr. Li told them that he was 93 and his wife was 90, they were shocked as they thought the couple was at most in their 70s. They were especially amazed that Mr. Li’s wife had such a glowing and rosy complexion with no wrinkles. They commented that they had never seen a woman in her 90s looking so good.
Mr. Li said, “Falun Gong can do wonders for people! It is a high-level Buddha school practice and requires its practitioners to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, think of others first, and cultivate away selfishness. Since my wife and I took up Falun Gong, we have never been sick, and are as healthy as can be.”
Mr. Li continued to tell them that Falun Gong is a cultivation practice of both mind and body, but unfortunately, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) decided to persecute it in 1999 due to its popularity. He reminded the three men not to follow the CCP in harming the practitioners. They all agreed.
While on their way out, they were still talking about how young the elderly couple looked and how organized their home was. They all exclaimed that Falun Gong is really amazing!
