People Who Have Awakened to Communist China’s Brutality Wish Master Li a Happy New Year

(Minghui.org) With 2023 right around the corner, many people in China sent in their best wishes to Master Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Dafa, for a happy new year! The past three years of the pandemic have enabled them to see the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for what it is. Without any regard for human life, the CCP enforced draconian lockdown measures. When people took to the streets to protest, the CCP abruptly ended its zero-COVID policy without any warning or exit plan. Soon infections and deaths soared in China.

All these only showed that the CCP only cared about holding onto power, not the well-being of people. In contrast, Falun Dafa practitioners have been working tirelessly to tell people how to stay safe in the pandemic by reciting the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Many have seen their health restored and experienced Master Li’s (Dafa’s founder) compassion and Dafa practitioners’ kindness. They thank Master Li for keeping them safe during the pandemic.

A lay Buddhist in Jingzhou County, Hunan Province, wrote in his greetings, “I believe good and evil will be rewarded accordingly. My mother, also a lay Buddhist, experienced the cultural revolution and saw how the regime destroyed temples and scriptures. So I always knew that the CCP is hostile to people of faith. After the CCP began the persecution of Falun Dafa in 1999, I was not deterred but tried to come across Falun Dafa practitioners. I did and thus got all kinds of Falun Dafa materials to read. I also passed the materials to family and friends. They also admired practitioners for upholding their faith amidst the persecution. Falun Dafa is like a light shining through the universe and its principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance have brought hope to people.”

A farmer in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province shared how her family was targeted by the CCP. She wrote, “My father served as the local CCP secretary for 18 years. After the Cultural Revolution started, he was labeled a capitalist and criticized every day. Because of our father, my older brother was fired from his job at the local education department and I was disqualified after passing the college entrance exam. When Dafa practitioners told me that the CCP is doomed, I was thrilled. The CCP has caused deaths to so many, including Dafa practitioners. Falun Dafa teaches people to be good, but the CCP is targeting it while conniving with bad people. We average citizens all know that the CCP’s days are numbered. I admire and revere Master Li for teaching people to be good!”
