People Are Awakening

(Minghui.org) More and more people have learned the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa. When I tell them about the universal principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, they often say they feel uplifted. I’d like to share a few stories with you.

I chatted with a retired government official about the global crisis and natural disasters, and he agreed with everything I said.

I said, “We were indeed meant to meet. Nowadays, there is so much chaos and social unrest. No one can tell what will happen tomorrow. No matter how much money people have, it can’t save them when pandemics or other disasters strike. Health and harmony are most important in our lives. They are more important than anything else!”

I handed him an amulet and asked him to remember the auspicious phrase, “Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I told him that these are everlasting universal values.

He asked why I still talked to people about Falun Dafa after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) prohibited it. I explained that Dafa is practiced in more than 100 countries and regions around the world. The main text, Zhuan Falun, has also been translated into more than 40 languages.

“What You Said Is True!”

He seemed to doubt that saying the auspicious phrase could bring blessings. I said, “You know good is rewarded with good, and evil is punished. Saying the phrase is not just for fun. The purpose is to remind us to behave according to universal values. Heaven is watching and can see your heart when you sincerely repeat it. In the past, the elderly used to talk about virtue. When I was a child, if something good happened to someone, people would say that this person had accumulated great virtue in their previous life!”

He smiled and agreed. I said, “In fact, the elderly often said doing good deeds would bless one’s children and grandchildren. Isn’t this related to congenital or genetic diseases?” He nodded repeatedly and said, “What you said is true!”

I then explained the facts of the staged self-immolation incident at Tiananmen Square and persuaded him to quit the CCP.

I also told him about the 270-million-year-old stone in Guizhou Province that is inscribed with the words “The Chinese Communist Party Will Perish.” Geology experts investigated the stone after its discovery in June 2002 and concluded that the characters were naturally formed. Many people decided to quit the CCP and its youth organizations after they saw the stone. He then took out his phone and checked it out online while we talked. 

I explained the stone contains a message that Heaven wanted to convey to people, namely that the destruction of the CCP is Heaven’s will. “Whether you believe it or not, it is doomed if Heaven decides to eliminate it!”

He said he took many bribes while he was in office and now regretted it: “I shouldn’t have done those bad things.” He then asked if he could donate the money to Falun Dafa. I thanked him for his kindness but told him we didn’t take donations and suggested he donate the money to people who needed it.

“I Suggest You Renounce the CCP ”

This past July, I went to a park to clarify the facts to people about Dafa. Twin boys were playing by the water with their grandmother. I shared my snacks with them and asked if they wanted to hear a story. 

I told the children the story of The Nine-Colored Deer. Afterward, I said, “There is a standard for being good children, and this standard is Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I hope you can follow this to be honest, be respectful to others, be kind to your friends, and share your toys with others.”

The children’s grandmother was listening and exclaimed, “Thank you. What you say is so true!” I asked her to remember the auspicious phrase, “Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and how this could bring her blessings. I explained that gods will protect good people if they follow these principles. She thanked me again and said this was very encouraging, and that I was kind.

I asked her if she heard of quitting the CCP. She said she joined the Young Pioneers when she was a child. I said, “Do you remember when you raised your fist and took an oath when you joined? I suggest you renounce the CCP and void the pact you made with it.”

She said, “You are so right. My son and daughter-in-law will soon come to pick us up. Please tell them about it too!”

When I was part of a tour group, two officials listened to me talk about Dafa and the principles of being a good person. They both said that the happiest thing about the trip was they met me, “It would be nice if everyone in this society could follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance!”

“If I Talked to You Earlier, I Would Not Have Fought with My Cousin ”

I passed by a fortune teller’s stall. I knew him, so I stopped and we chatted about how to stay safe in the current chaos.

When I was leaving, I heard someone call me. I turned around, and it was a man who had just got a reading from the fortune teller.

He said he had just spent two hundred dollars to ask about his fortune, but what I said made him feel relieved. He wanted to tell me what was bothering him and asked if I had a good solution.

He lived in a nearby township. He and his cousin built houses on adjacent properties, but they had a conflict. His cousin agreed to build a house the same height as his, but he ended up making it taller. In addition, his cousin used some of his property but did not ask his permission. 

The man was angry and quarreled with his cousin and injured him during a fight. His cousin called the police, and the man was detained for a month. He had to pay his cousin 70,000 Yuan ($100 USD). He was still angry, and that’s why he went to the fortune teller for guidance.

I said, “We all have predestined relationships with each other. I’ll give you an amulet which has the auspicious phrase on it. You will feel better if you can act according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. If you previously joined the CCP or its affiliated organizations, you should quit to stay safe. The CCP has done so many bad things and will meet its doom. Please distance yourself from it.”

He said, “What you say is so correct! I will withdraw from the CCP’s youth organizations using my real name!”

I also told him the story of Yang Zhu, the Minister of Rites in the imperial court of the Ming Dynasty (1368 AD-1644 AD). A neighbor erected a wall and took over three feet of his family’s land. His family asked him to intervene. Yang wrote to his family, “Don’t quarrel over this land. What does it matter if we have three feet less?” His letter moved the neighbor, who subsequently moved the wall back into his yard.

I explained that everything happens for a reason, and we are paying the debts we owe from our previous lifetimes. So he should forgive his cousin.

He said, “If I had talked to you earlier, I would not have fought with my cousin and injured him.” He then gave me his contact information and invited me over to talk to his family and cousin.
